Remove the old pins, insert the new key, and use tweezers or small needle-nose pliers to match the new colored pins to the color code on the special instruction sheet. Once the new pins are in, reverse the steps to reassemble the lock.
Improve your home’s security by removing the current door knob and using a tape measure to measure horizontally from the door edge to the center screw of the knob. You can also measure vertically from the midline of the knob/handle to rekey.
