IOS 14 and later introduce new ways to find and organize apps on your iPhone. To prevent rearrangement of icons, go to the Settings app, tap on Display and Brightness, then choose ‘Standard’. You can customize app icons and widgets on the Home Screen by changing their color, adding a tint, making them larger or smaller, and removing the app name.
In iOS 18, you can no longer restrict yourself to a grid of app icons and widgets. With iOS 18, you can customize your iPhone’s Home screen and change the position of your apps and widgets. To rearrange your home screen, long press the side button on your iPhone twice to go to the Lock Screen. Touch and hold the Lock Screen until the Customize button appears at the bottom of the screen.
Currently, there is no built-in iOS software that allows you to lock apps so they can’t be accidentally moved. To customize your home screen, press and hold on an app icon or widget until a pop-up menu appears. Tap on Edit Home Screen.
To customize your home screen, open the Settings app on your Apple® iPhone® and navigate to General, Transfer or Reset iPhone, Reset, Reset Home Screen Layout, and Reset Home Screen. First, open the Settings app on your iPhone, then tap Display and Brightness, then Navigate to the Auto-Lock section.
