The New Tardis Mod for Minecraft adds a dark and sinister variant of the TARDIS interior used by The Master in a 1984 Doctor Who episode “Planet of Fire”. To access it, you must be subscribed to the 1983 TARDIS addon.
New Tardis Mod 1.16.5+ allows players to unlock Interiors, Exteriors, and Console Units for their Tardis. Custom interiors can be built and the exterior can be set to spawn coordinates with /tardis-interior-pos x y z.
Customizing your TARDIS involves using TARDIS Decorator to change interior blocks, Temporal Engine’s Console Room Setting panel to change the overall look of the console room, or the Chameleon Circuit to change the exterior look. Most Console Rooms can be unlocked through methods described in Unlocking Extra Content.
The New TARDIS Mod is a technology mod that adds a pocket dimension that can act as a portable base, inspired by the eponymous time machine.

Thank you so much for reviewing our mod! We’re really glad you enjoyed playing the mod! You did a wonderful job in providing an in-depth yet digestible guide to the Tardis. We understand the mechanics can be quite complex to understand for newcomers so your approach in dividing the showcase into chapters makes the article much more easy to follow. For some of the more abstract topics such as identifying mood through different lighting colours, some example screenshots may help complement your commentary better, but considering how much care went into the article, it’s a minor area to improve in. 🙂 We also really appreciate your kind words about the mod’s art; we’re very lucky to have such an amazing artist on board, they specialise in the steampunk-style so you may have seen its influence on the project’s art style! Yes, we’ve always wanted to do something different with our interpretation of the Doctor Who world. The project is a side hobby for the team so we’re quite open to experimenting with different concepts. A note we’d just like to add is the community content available for the Schematics system mentioned in the article. There’s quite a ton of unlockable features that you can obtain through the Schematic system, such as custom console rooms and corridors. You can create this type of content yourself via the base game’s datapack system which makes it easy to share with others. In the future we plan to expand the integration of data-driven systems so there’s alot you will be able to do.
Tip: If your tardis is NOT generating artron units, check that #!: You got a fluid link (Obviously) #2: Check for a battery in components section that has no energy like a yellow one with no AU units. (Its taking the energy from the tardis cuz thats where you recharge batteries for vortex manipulators and other stuff) If it doesnt work then try telling the mods on the forum and checking the tardis really good.
Is there any way to see what traits your tardis has? My tardis is constantly landing in the wrong places (although it says its a max of 100 blocks, I’ve had extreme cases of over 300 blocks away before), and despite me flying mostly fine in unstabilized flight, the mood or loyalty doesn’t seem to be increasing much.
I played this mod for several hours, and couldn’t figure out how to not create craters when landing. Also there was a point where the Tardis just wouldn’t take off? I’m wondering if it has a refueling issue. It was also filled a 3rd of the way with water and fish and turtles and coral and kelp. Got some of the water out so it would be easier to access the engine for maintenance. Put some of the fish in buckets and then the Tardis didn’t want to take off…
