I bought this kit for my Dodge Challenger. The only color that shows up vibrantly is the blue. All of the other colors were pretty washed. There are obvious dead spots in the trim also. I couldn’t for the life of me select white as a color thru the app. The cables and the hub make it very hard for a stealth instillation and compared to other options out there, if I wanted to trim out my Challenger the way they did it in this article it would cost nearly $200. I’m returning it asap!
This article is truly false advertisement when it comes to visually showing you overall coverage of the LED trim….. 72″ inches does not cover your complete dash pending your vehicle and what part of the dash you want the trim to cover.. Why is there connection to add addition trim sold or sold at a longer length that can be adjusted ????
I had to buy 2 just to make the light go all the way around my cluster panel… So i have 2 of the lights going into one piece of trim at each end… And thank God cause the one pack the light had air bubbles in it so it looked shitty… And now the one I have installed is starting to have air bubbles in it…

IN THE DAY ITS ALMOST UNNOTICEABLE AND AT NIGHT YOU SEE BUBBLES IN THE TUBE. to make this better, STOP using the stupid light that you have to shove a tube in and make it one WHOLE PIECE for DIRECT light source‼️
Just installed these in my challenger and I’m honestly pretty disappointed. The installation was simple and took 10 minutes, but these aren’t very bright. I even turned the brightness all the way up in the app and they’re still not bright enough. The only color that’s actually bright is the blue, but my cars interior is black and green to match the outside and I wanted to run green, but the green is so dim it barely looks like it’s on.
This Type S product is not working as expected. Unsatisfied and will be returning them. Sucks because I have 4 Type S RGB LEDs and the “Smart Controller” works well with them. I recommend other Type S products like the RGB LED tape lights, just not this one at the moment. 1. Colors are dim. 2. Light dims out very quickly, as an, beginning of the plastic cable is bright but after 4 inches, it’s dimming out. It looks dim like literally shown at 1:12. And yes, the blues look brighter but other colors are just dim. 3. So many colors to choose from, but white isn’t white, pink, purple, light blues, green blues, teals, oranges, yellows, – they’re all gonna look bluish purple. It’s like if green doesn’t want to kick in. Type S, your product needs some work.

Um… are yall kidding me??? You actually know how to attach the LED strips, so you think everyone does? That said… i have a problem attaching the LEDs… i wanna buy this, but I have the stiff carpet-like covering down under the dash, not plastic or metal, so what would I do there to attach them???
