How To Hang Decorations From Walls?

Hanging wall decor without damaging walls is an affordable and creative way to add a touch of art and style to your home or apartment. There are various methods to hang items without damaging the wall, including adhesives, tension rods, easels, or hooks. Command Hooks is a popular brand that designs products specifically for keeping walls scuff-free. They offer a variety of hooks (plastic, metal, etc.) for no-drill applications to brick walls.

Zip Ties are ideal for secureing items tightly and having places to hang them from. They are commonly used in studios to hang pipes from pipes. For hanging heavy objects, hooks or Velcro with removable adhesive are popular options. These products are simple hook or Velcro-style strips with a special adhesive.

To hang ornaments on a wall, start by tying one end of thread to the desired ornament at the lowest point of the hanging. Tie the thread around the top of the ornaments. Hang wire directly on the branches without ribbon to make the decorations appear as if they are hanging on the branches. Cut enough pieces of ribbon for all the ornaments you want to use, tie each ornament to a piece of ribbon, and start arranging the decorations.

To create a unique and decorative wall display, cut jute rope to the desired hanging length, tie one end of a stick to the opposite end, and follow the instructions provided. This will help you create a visually appealing and functional wall decor.

  • That was a fun watch to see the huge variety of different ways to decorate 1 item. The only thing I was disappointed in was the shots to see the completed projects on the tree and how you used them. They were a millisecond long. Would have loved a longer looksee and closeups of your art. I know I can pause my article, but kinda not the same. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

  • If adding paint to the inside of ornaments, try adding mod podge or watered-down white glue to the paint. A couple of years ago, I squirted paint on the inside of ornaments and allowed them to dry. Imagine my surprise when after a week and then 2 weeks, the paint on the inside started falling to the bottom of the ornaments. Left them up for the duration of that holiday and then threw them in the garbage can.

  • Hi I am following you from California every so often I go and check your page very interesting little things you can enjoy the day create from inexpensive to value, I’m going to use my nail polish that I do not use and change my ornaments we’ll have ideas but sometimes not everybody do the same but thank you and keep doing what you like happy holidays

  • I don’t get why you used rit for this? I did this wth paints…cheap 50 cent acrylic paints. And I didn’t bake them although they do dry faster in an oven. I dont see the need for use of mod podge which is expensive and so is rit dye. Way too wasteful for me. I like the ones that got dipped into paint swirls on top,of the water. The others were just BORING.
