  • Hello Ula, thank you so much for your article. I already use Canvas but I love how you explain how to get the inspiration from. It just gets so much easier when you have an idea of color themes and textures. I work in the custom furniture industry and a lot of people find it hard to visualize the outcome.

  • Your so amazing, creative and inspiring! You’ve helped me understand so much about how to decorate my home. I had no idea where to start, but your instructions have helped me clear away the confusion and gain better understanding about designing a space. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and expertise! 😀

  • Hi Zahira. Your articles are really helpful to me as I am currently designing my new home. Thank you for that. May be I could not understand the idea behind mood board, to me it looked like a collage of images of items, colors and textures I would like to have in my room/home. Is it so? Also, could you please suggest some tools where we can create a room, fill the walls with colors (downloaded images) of our choice, then insert images of furnitures, curtains, etc of our choice and have a whole look of the room. Like, if I want to visualise my room digitally before buying the actual stuffs.

  • Love love your article. Would you pls be so kind to tell me where I can buy those wood panels for bedroom walls? Which companies make them and what kind of stores sell them? I asked this question 2 weeks ago under the article of top bedroom 2020, but haven’t heard back from you. So I am asking you again here.

  • I did not understand a word of this, sorry. Making files, drop down menus- you were going so fast and Canva looks really complicated. I am not computer savvy. I am not even sure of the purpose of the board at all rather than just putting something of the same ilk on Pintrest and titling it “living room.” etc. Sorry, wish I understood this. But nope, not me, not a wit.

  • The great interior design articles without any return expectations !!!💖 Zahira mam you are doing a greaaat job for freshers and dreamers 😍🌸 by providing huge source of knowledge🌟. I go crazy after perusal your effective interior design tips and way of presention. Thanks a lot for great contents and knowledge!!!!💖🌸

  • Got any tips on designing a space for selling? We’ve got very yellow/orange-toned wood floors and trims that can’t be easily changed. Plenty of natural light (when the clouds don’t get in the way), a very dark gray couch, and a messy brick fireplace with matte black metal. The oranges and reds are here to stay. I’m not yet super confident in my design skills, but I’m the only one in the house willing to try. If you’ve got some general painting tips for getting a place market-ready, let me know. Would love some direction on the types of neutrals to go for.

  • My husband and I are trying to design our apartment and learn how to do it right. I tried so hard to make a mood board like you said, it took me hours! and I ended up getting a so-so result.😂 I know everything comes with practice and it’s not our profession but the frustration is real. I appreciate your work thank you🤍

  • Thank you so much… was hoping to ask about window treatments. Wondering what new trends ? I see homes with nothing but for us that live too close to neighbors it’s not practical. Currently have shutters, original to house since 2004 but want to change in living room. Would love to see a article on window door coverings in living rooms etc .thank you!

  • First, it’s the “Jungle Fever” pallette I love. Green is my favorite color. Second, this is a message to your husband….get his attention and make sure he’s reading this…Husband, you are the LUCKIEST MAN ALIVE to be married to this woman. Make sure you treat her like a queen…or better yet, a GODDESS!
