Based on cfm of unit the it should all be black and the intakes should be though a longer black manifold that can preheat a larger than necessary volume before it enters directly you are losing higher output temps The Kettle size and the inlet and exhaust ratio determine max heat an max delivered cfm heat.
That is so cool and inventive. I bet a person could even make some really cheap reflectors or something to that effect to point at it and the solar panels to boost it especially in cold weather or just have several at certain angles so throughout the day it is always getting light and you don’t have to keep adjusting it as the sun changes angle it will just hit another reflector that beams light on it. Would be cool for people in the north who have outside dogs and keeping their dog houses a little warm as an idea. Don’t know about night though haha
