The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?
I must begin by saying that I’m liking your content in the last few articles I discovered, but, as a business owner, I must disagree on the frequency of emails. I find it very intrusive to receive newsletter emails more than once a week. Over time (after thousands of accumulating emails I leave unopened), when I do periodic clean-ups, I end up either unsubscribing, reporting spam, or both. Just thought I’d share a real use case experience.

Your website is amazing, thank you! I do have a question though that I cant find an exact answer to. I am trying to create a niche agency & have been reaching out to potential clients on LinkedIn and via email to ask about their pain points so I can create a customer avatar & at least know if it’s a market I can help before building a new online brand for them to go to. I am getting no traction..na-da. I dont know how to reach out to ppl anymore than I have. I’d love to work with and find out what they need, their true pain points (vs my assumptions) before I can even make an offer or anything. I feel so frustrated and I dont know what I could be doing wrong or how to get them to talk to me. Do you have advice or a article on this? Help, please. :/
Hmm not sure about this perspective… I believe what dictates your offer is your costs. Once you know your costs and therefore your margins you can then go forward and construct your offer, if you do not do this you are going into trading operations blind. Now, on the other-hand, if you have pots of money and this ‘loss leader’ style business launch is part of your strategy that will ceases at a given time, then all well and good.
Hello Adam do you just offer classes on digital marketing or proved the service itself? Who can you recommend that does a good job in digital marketing. We are a growing kitchen cabinetry company in Seattle area and had bad experiences hiring people that only promised results and didn’t do the job. Thank you in advance.
Adam, I’m new to the website. Will I find a take/grouping/look at the conversion from sales to donations for nonprofits? There are a lot of general conversions, like miracles vs. miseries convert loosely to social problem vs. mission solutions. Buuuut, most of what I’ve seen thus far here has been presented as proven, tried & true strategies. Would welcome an opportunity to be able to benefit from that standard. OK – any perspective would be welcome.
Hey Adam, you are always spot on when it comes to delivering marketing value. Thank you once again for this golden nugget. As a business owner, I understand the importance of having leverage especially leveraging one’s time and effort. In your opinion, how soon should a new DM agency hire and delegate? Would you recommend hiring non paid interns for a start or low wage staff?
Adam! Can’t thank you enough for being my daily morning listen while I’m making my commute to the office. Even on days without new content, I’m just relistening to your articles to hammer down the info. Im just one of the many young marketers that you’re teaching and inspiring every day and I know there’s plenty of others out there soaking all this up!
Hi Adam thank you for all your sharing…really helps me as I journey into the whole digital mktg ecosystem integrating w traditional mktg. Overwhelming is the least I can say and am here looking for a smart way to manage everything from strategy to which master funnel to which master analytics tool (is it GA?) to which content calendar (does this include PR content OMG) so u see where I am going w this? If anyone can jump in to share w me how u guys marketeers manage it all bc I am this close to pivoting to another career field and get out of marketing altogether…..OMG!
I agree with everything you said bar one point….email marketing. I absolutely hate giving my email address away cos I know I’m about to get hounded especially to get a freebie, and if I absolutely hate it, then so do most other ppl. I have come to the point where I get the freebie and then automatically unsubscribe……just did with your list as I got 2 emails for a freebie. I call it overkill. So I automatically unsubscribed. What I do instead so as not to interfere with ppls privacy is offer them to join my Facebook group. This way they can come in and leave as they please. I am not interfering with their privacy. Ppl have come to distrust signing up for things so much it is unbelievable. I had this set up for a while…..sign up to watch a free webinar and virtually no one signed up. Ppl are way too busy these days. There are 2 email lists I am on only and I rx an email from them once a week, and I even don’t read them yet do save them for future reference in case I may ever need them. In all my years on this planet there was only one email list I used to really look forward to getting and reading and that was some 15 years ago…nothing before or since. From my own experience both as a sender and rx’er of emails, I strongly recommend using a FB Group or anything bar an email list. I bought a course online 2 years ago, and would u believe it, literally within 5 minutes, I had 5 emails from the guy…..1, receipt of purchase. 2. here is your bonus. 3. here is another bonus etc etc etc, and each email was pages long.
Thank you so much Sir. You’re AMAZING taking this time to break all of this down into a article. I know that you stand to gain from the articles but wow, how much we gain also! I love a win-win situation such as this but. The awesome thing is, I’m actually learning how to type by typing this comment on the keyboard, and the customers I’m serving are ex drug addicts that have turned their life around. I help them get their business out there better and take off. I’m starting to realize that I need to start marketing myself as well. Anyways, as to not waste anymore of your time, I just wantted to thank you in long form (more practice and deeper meaning to praise and compliment). Thank you so much and I hope your day is phenomenal!
I feel like you have a lot of good things to say but you talk about nothing for 5 minutes about nothing before you really say anything. I have a hard time staying engaged and thus far I have learned nothing from you as a result. Please just get straight to your points in I direct and interesting way.
hey awesome article! all your articles i’ve watched helped me open my eyes on so many different things that i didn’t know about hahaha. just wanted to ask, are all these points also applicable to fashion brands? especially for miracles and miseries. how does brands like gucci, bathing ape, ADLV and etc, solve people’s problems? or does most fashion brands out there appeal people through the design of their products?
I like your content, however, you assume the viewer knows how to do a lot of which I do not know. I don’t know how to talk into my phone to record a short story. Where would I talk into? Then how would it get on a social media platform. How do I upload a article, which I do not know how to make, onto YouTube. Your article assumes a lot about the viewer.
I like your stuff and definitely learned a lot…but I disagree a bit the email…getting people’s phone numbers is the new email. Much higher conversion rate. I hate emails that come in and always place them in spam. If I wouldn’t like it why would I do a marketing technique like this? I did my own research and asked people if emailing them was the best way to get in touch with them, they said if they where really interested in information they would give me their number. Again….I rest my case.
Something funny happened when I clicked on this article: the audio track automatically played in Spanish. I was surprised to hear a female Spaniard robot generated voice that does not match your article. For the Spanish native speaker that I am, this voice was not appealing at all. Why not using real interpreters? I am one, I know about it. Use a male interpreter and organically attract your Spanish speaking audience. Having said that, I really appreciate all the wisdom that you share.
I know that I have to target my market but if I’m a dentist how to target when literally everyone can have bad teeth that need a makeover? ( I know how to target my ads for lip fillers, cause it is more of a specific niche, but teeth whitening or makeover is very broad and open to everyone? ) hmmm…
