You have to reach in and unhook the top of it from the unseen upper peg by sliding your hand in between the box and the piston and pushing it off the upper peg. To mount it back you need to take the piston off the lower peg, it’s split so you have to pinch the ends together, then reattach it to the upper peg, pull the lower part of the piston out and reattach it to the lower peg.
