A video is available for those interested in modding the interior dome light of a Toyota Celica. The cover snaps in place, similar to a Beer Stein’s cap. It is a plastic and should slightly resemble a Beer Stein cap. The video is dedicated to 7th Generation Toyota Celica owners and enthusiasts, discussing modifications, troubleshooting, and engine issues.
For those with a 2001 Gen 7 Celica with an electric sunroof, replacing the interior light is a common task. Replacing the cabin and boot lights in a Toyota Celica VII with 16 LED arrays can be done using eBay. The longevity of these LED arrays is unknown.
For those with 96-99 stock spotlights/fog lights, the installation process is similar to installing 96-99 stock spotlights/fog. The issue is with the interior boot light, which is not working after blowing a fuse. To change the interior light, remove the cover and replace the bulb with a blue LED bulb of the same type (festoon most likely).
The clear part can be pryed off using a small screw driver or butter knife. The part number for the dome light is 81260-14080-B3, which was found on 1994-1999 Celica, 1996-2000 RAV4 and 1998-2003 RAV4 EV.

You don’t need to remove that whole gray plastic and also there is no need to remove any screw… it’s just enought to remove transparent part of plastic with a flat screwdriver 😉 If’ve changed mine dome light right this way and works fine. Just be sure to make no damage to that transparent plastic part 🙂
@THEREALSTEEZEMACHINE The bulb is really easy to find online, but finding one that’s tungsten with blue glass to give it a white light is difficult for some reason. You can actually buy an LED bulb that will fit this on superbrightleds . com. The real problem for me was actually the fuse. It blew twice, and we had to order a new one, because no one carried them.
I remember the website I got the light from. It’s called DinoDirect. Just search “Led Dome Light” and a plethora of products will pop up. I actually purchased the 36 Led light, but it’s excessively bright, so I would go with a smaller one. Just make sure the description says that the adapter is universal or comes with more than one adapter.
