Smooth Interior Camera is a mod that enhances the interior camera in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator by adding smooth rotation animation. This mod is based on hry-core, a small framework for creating mods for ETS. To use the mod, go in-game and set the buttons on your controller/wheel for the Interior Left/Right Look. Keyboard drivers should be set already. The mod contains over 400+ cabin accessory items, including female and male co-drivers, bobbleheads, and truck driver accessories.
In order to improve the immersion in the game, the mod has been updated with several improvements. The in-game setting “Scaling” has been changed from 100 to 200, with 400 potentially causing an FPS decrease. To ensure the mod works, try verifying game files in Steam by right-clicking on the game, selecting properties, and going to the local files tab.
The mod also includes new background interior lights (2 types and different colors) and round lights for the back wall. The movement of various things in the truck interior is controlled by program-driven animations (*anim), with the range set by the *anim.

Since the new update I can’t assign in part moust left blinker on my mouse how ever I have a button on the side of the mouse and I assigned the bottom for left and right turns signals in able to assign buttons for the gps on the dashboard and we’ll it work but only stays on one may I tried using mouse to change and it goes blank poof gone black so I unassigned it back to the way it was hmm they update was a totle incomplete in part more or less but not entirely hmm I doubt they’ll do anything about it there are many times I had to restart all over because of the ! That I had to restart all over again and because of some of the mods issues if that don’t top it off you updated again entirely another mess like uninstall and reinstall and do it all over AGAIN now I do hope that they make a version that won’t mess with the key factor of the game assigning keys to the game I wonder if I bought a stearing wheel would make it any better on assigning keys to what ever ya choose so hmm I do hope they fix this
This setting is no longer available to me. ETS2 seems to has been updated, making this article outdated. “Dashboard Map Mode” is replaced by “Infotainment Display Mode”, but with the change that it only sets the dashboard display ON/OFF. For changing the zoom factor of the navigation, you’ll find a separate setting under it naming “Navigation Zoom Mode”.
