This video explains how to upgrade interior lights on a Buick Enclave to LED, highlighting the importance of proper functioning overhead lights for vehicle safety. Over time, dome light bulbs may go out and need to be replaced. The video demonstrates how to change the bulbs in the 6 overhead map/dome lights in the Enclave, which have a dark yellow tint.
To change the bulbs, carefully pry out the overhead light assembly and disconnect the electrical connector. There are three screws on the back that hold it. The dome lamps are located in the overhead console and above the rear seat passengers and come on when a door is opened, unless the dome lamp override button is pressed.
The 2022 Enclave offers ambient interior lighting, allowing you to customize the cabin’s illumination. To change the lights, slip a plastic putty knife around the edge and release them. Then, remove the light housing to get to the backside of the instrument panel. Press the small knob to extend it, turn the knob to adjust the instrument panel lighting, and turn the knob fully to turn on the dome lamps when all doors are opened.
The small knob next to the headlamp switch adjusts the dimming on the dash lights. Just above that knob is a dome lamp over ride switch. Press the stick in and turn it to the left to decrease the light intensity.
