How Can I Tell What Color The Interior Of My Bmw Is?

The BMW interior paint code is a unique identifier that tells the exact color and finish of your car’s exterior. It is usually found on a sticker under the car’s hood or in the driver’s door jam. To determine the interior color of your BMW, you can look at your owner’s manual to discover the make, model, and year of your car. If you don’t have the original owner’s manual, look beneath your back seat for your car’s label with the name and code. The label with the name and code is typically located on the strut tower on most BMW models, but some models may have the label located under the hood itself.

To find an exact color match for your panelling or upholstery, you’ll need to find the name and number of the tint used in your particular car. Contact your local BMW dealer with your VIN number, and the parts department should be able to provide it to you. You can find your interior color code here http://bmwvin.com/ and all of the options your car has. All you need is the last 7 digits of your vin.

BMW encodes the interior trim to the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), meaning that no separate interior trim code can be found. The interior color code is in the bottom right of the sticker, but it is also one of the RPO codes near the end of the list ending in the letter “I”. If you’re considering purchasing BMW leather dye for touch-ups or an all-new look, view our BMW color chart first to find the ideal match for your car’s interior.
