Crafting furniture in Genshin Impact requires a blueprint, which can be obtained from various instances in the game. Furnishing sets are sets of furnishings that can be placed together in the Serenitea Pot. To craft a specific furnishing set, players must talk to Tubby and select “Create Furnishing”. Furnishing items without blueprints can be bought from Housing System shops or given to players as rewards.

The Placing Furnishing feature is accessible via the Pointer icon at the top of the screen. A guide in Genshin Impact will show where to find furniture blueprint vendors with maps and list what they sell. Wood is one of the materials required to make furniture, and players can manually invite them to their favorite furnishing sets by clicking the prompt that shows up when standing in the center of the set.

In summary, crafting furniture in Genshin Impact requires a blueprint, which can be obtained from various instances in the game. Players can also earn wood by chopping down trees in Teyvat.

Why is there a Furnishing limit in Genshin Impact?

Genshin’s realm has a load limit that prevents players from placing more furnishings unless they remove some. Large amounts of furniture, building towns, or creating in-realm zoos can cause significant load on devices, making it difficult for lower-powered players to load their realm without lag. The load limit ensures that both the realm and those visited should load smoothly. Currently, there is no way to increase the limit, but the load indicator in the build menu shows if the player is close to reaching the limit using red, amber, and green traffic lights.

  • Here’s some updated info from things people have pointed out about the teapot. I may not be able to verify all of this, as some parts of the teapot system have changed since I started, but I’ll make any changes and updates as necessary. 1. You may not need to be AR 35+ to start the quest. I’m pretty sure you still need to complete the Liyue Archon Questline. Hoyoverse reduced the AR needed to take on a lot of archon and story quests some time ago and this system may have benefited from that change. 2. You may have more time to use transient resin. I always thought the countdown started the week you got it and went until the weekly reset on the upcoming Monday, but people are saying the countdown may give you more time. It’s still a good idea to use the resin by Sunday at the latest, so the advice from the vid still holds up 🙂 I thought I’ve bought the resin on a Sunday and lost it before, so I’ll be testing the timer this week by buying the resin late in the week. 3. You get 10 wanderer’s advice for 60 coins and 1 Hero’s Wit for 120 coins. Or to simplify, 10k exp for 60 coins or 20k exp for 120 coins. So the exp value is the same per coin used. I thought you only got 1 wanderer’s advice for 60 coins so that rate would have been terrible. Reading is hard, especially when you’re a shark whose been educated in Florida.

  • For those that plan to rush the Teapot like me, (assuming you’re at Sumeru already and unlocked the reputation system there) Try getting the Wood gadget as fast as possible, this will make it so you don’t have to whack trees individually and instead just claim every tree within range of the gadget. with that i suggest these spots for tree farming: Pine Tree = Monstadt near the fountain. Birch Tree = Around Starfell Lake, which you do the rounds around the Statue of the Seven. Fir Wood = is on the Valley of Remembrance, all the way to dawn Winrey and you circle back. Bamboo = is the teleport wavepoint where you met Xiangling on her quest. Sandbearer = is from the domain of forsaken ruins to the teleport wavepoint then circle back. Yumemiro = Amakane island in inazuma. Aralia = Chinju Forest Kharm and brightwood =is from Pardis Dhyai in sumeru. this if how i farm wood, and it works significally better with the gadget. since most of the locations i mentioned, are in clumps of 3, making one use of the gadget get you 9-12 wood per use. not even 30 mins passes by and i’m already 1k wood for all of them. hope this helps!

  • Another worthwhile thing to note, even though it’s probably been brought up elsewhere, is furniture sets. Each character you can invite has 2 furniture sets they like, the blueprints for which can be purchased at the depot (although you still need to find and learn the component furnishings). Building that furniture set and inviting that character to your pot will have them teleport to the set, give some dialogue and gift you 20 Primos, 20k Mora and either Ascension gems or Talent guides. It’s not a lot, but using one of their favorite sets is also a nice way to make your favorite characters feel more at home in your pot.

  • A bit of correction about transient resin: you basically have until the end of the next week to use it. So if you got it on Sunday you have week to use it, and nearly 2 weeks if bought on Monday (did not test buying on Monday myself, maybe it is next day) Admittedly explanation on the item is confusing and don’t really matter anyway, just want to provide peace of mind for people: it will not expire right away.

  • Oh, damn. Day 2 of using it but I choose first the realm I thought most beautiful and which I wanted to be nice :/ And just to mention, I’m AR30 with access to it, so this requirement may have been lowered. Would love a follow up to this, specially regarding the special salesman. And what does mean that energy / companion thing?

  • Hey bro, I just reached 20k adeptal energy and trust rank 8. Here r my questions? 1)Do I gain more currency if I have adeptal energy in other realms? 2)after reaching trust rank 10, should i craft any new blueprints? 3)can u make another article or explain here about seeds, how we plant some flowers… And subwaypoint

  • Yes please explain what the whole friendship bounty in the teapot is all about. I have another interesting a bit of advice. I was able to get my second island today having reached trust level 5, and I discovered that it has a tremendously higher degree of furnishing limit than the first island. Then I found another wonderful surprise is that I could place items within other items to save space like dozens of boulders within each other and even houses within each other to build up my adeptal energy threefold in the space of about half an hour. So I got the Max rewards very very quickly and it still looks alright and doesn’t have to necessarily be a storage closet! 🙂
