Not by Agustine or Calvin or Luther or Sproul have I ever been brought to my knees with truth and wisdom of how bad I had become. How did I find out about tozer?..God first led me to ” the saints must walk alone ” I had been praying bc even though I had been to many churches I was left dismayed and at times to the point of tears wondering why did I feel like a foreigner amongst them and that when I witnessed to and attested to the things God has done in my life it was as if I was speaking a language they just could not understand.. they couldn’t relate.. Wonderful truths that keep my mind focused on God and what He requires of me. This is not taught in churches. I know. I was a church minister of music for 30 years….worked me to death with the multitude of activities. I was exhausted all the time. Now I am no longer a minister of music, my life is slower and i am building a strong relationship with my Heavenly Father. By the way, i have listened to this audio book twice and plan to listen the third time. Satan likes to steal the truths i’ve learned so i must keep then clear in my mind.
I love this book. I came to learn about this book from a certain book i read some months back titled “He came to set the captives free” by Rebecca Brown. The excerpt from “The pursuit of God” which was used in that book was what got hold of me and i had promised myself that i would find time to read this book. Its been nothing short of peace and increasing yearning for God since i started listening to the book and i am glad i was given the grace to finish it. Lord I come Praying for every person listening to this audio at the moment, Lord you know them by their name, you know what they are going through, Lord I pray that whatever they are going through your hands will uphold them. I pray that the Holy spirit would meet them and will help them find the way to their promise for their pursuit.
I cant even explain how much this book has spoken to me. I just listened to the full thing in one sitting, taking notes. I could not turn it off. My entire life I’ve felt like I did not fit in in the world. Sometimes wishing God would let me leave it. Tormented by the thought of having to wait another 40-50 years until I went to His kingdom. Now I see I truly am not of this world as I am made in His image and He and His kingdom are all around me. What a sweet spring for a thirsty Christian.
I’m thankful to hear my own perceptions of my Lord Gods word in Tozers (Lewis, Macdonald & others) books. My favorite book is basic instruction before leaving earth (Bible). It’s not always easy to know if I’m “leaning on my own understanding”. I do try to examine my heart, test my actions & guard my heart. I pray for the strength to persevere unto the end
I honestly feel like I’m at a place where Ive grown tired of seeing so much dead religion. I hunger hard after the deep things of God. I’m sick of just having my feet wet, I really desire to dive into the very person of who Christ is. I know I must labour in this and cultivate it especially now that I’m feeling Him draw me to Him in such a manner.
Man’s chief end is to Glorify God and revered Him and enjoy His Glorious Power. We exist by His Power. Human reason did not create the universe, it might seem trivial but it is, in fact, of fundamental importance when we comes to assess the validity of our cognitive facilities. Not only did we not create the universe, but we did not create our own powers of reason either. We develop our rational faculty by use but we did not originate them. Jesus is the revelation as He made it known to US the existence of God in John chapter 17 and the deeper thought in the LORDS PRAYER. He is the Way the Truth and the Life. AMEN
Thanks for this audio book. I read this years ago and it’s like I’ve not read it! The person reading has a voice easy to listen to and keeps interest. I would prefer to follow as well as listen so I am going to hunt down my copy. Our, my inner desires are to have that closer walk with God, to be His instrument in this fallen world.

Please share! Precious Memories- By Sonya Lakey We had no idea that the evening of September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our oldest son played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for him (which he usually did for himself) for the church hike he was going on the following day. My mom, who was visiting from out of state, and I got up early with him on Saturday morning to hug him and see him off. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he’d see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my “new driver” heading out on his own. As he pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mom and said, “It’s just so hard letting go.” Little did I know how much “letting go” I was really doing. That was the last time I saw our 16 year old son. He did not make it home that night. That afternoon, a friend had tried to contact us, leaving a message on the phone to call back due to an emergency, but we really had no clue what was going on. And though we tried several times to return the call, we were not able to make a connection. As I helped prepare supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan and dread filled my heart, and I quietly blinked back tears. I looked out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pulling in, but no. However, within minutes, a police car DID pull in our driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst, but I went outside to speak with him.

I am convinced that God is not as concerned by what we do as much as HE is concerned about what we believe!!! In other words, God cares more about our thoughts than HE does about our actions!!! I believe that the sin of Adam and Eve was not the eating of the fruit, but in their believing a lie, from which their sin sprang!!!
It is amazing, there is nothing new under the sun. Times we live in now has been also during the time of Tozar, back even to the times of our Christ; even seen in the books of the prophets. Time and time again do we deal with powers of darkness and evil. God said we humans are fragile, and that has been proven since the days of Adam and Eve. I pray for the day Jesus’ prayer, that we be as one, as He and the Father are one will be answered because of man’s hunger for the will of God. We Christians will be held to higher standard and held more accountable then we may desire.

I guess it’s the trauma that causes us to shrink up inside, to want to hide, to die, to be alone. (Because there we at least won’t get hurt, again.) Now what? One day at a time. One step in front of the other. At the end of a year, you would have done 365 positive, proactive things toward healing… Maybe it’s time to call out for help. I don’t know. All I know is I did. To whom? You know. We know. Think back to when you were 5, or 6… (We all know who to call out to if we aren’t completely obliterated by then.) We don’t see it when we are in it. But my own experience tells me He is there… And ready to help when we call out. Please do, if you haven’t. You are loved.
Identity crisis of the gospel ragamuffin… For so long now, from so deep within, I find inside myself a crisis from which I almost feel disabled…debilitation seems a solid fit for the state in which I find myself on so many the occasion as I search so deep within to see what God established as I seek Him out in His decrees, because He speaks over me the things that my flesh contradicts so often but why so fiercely? Over so many years in my life I endured the abuses so heavy which wrecked a tortured child unwanted, unknowing of a thing called worth as I was written out as a statistic by a system unwanting, long before the term lost cause truly applied, a wasted youth in the making ignorant that the term wasted need not apply…you reap within a child that which is sewn, so when you sow such words as worthless and wasted, what can one expect to bloom but a worthless and wasted youngster with not a chance but to fail because failure is stitched within the essence of his being by those who could’ve spoken life to sprinkle rain rather than urine for growth…not a man woman nor child can fathom the solitude of being singled out in gross neglect, or the feelings of self hatred one comes into when they only know ugly from those who should be loving…it brings the shackles of a bastard, unwanted and unloved so what can a cat do but that which He was taught… Its so crazy because at the absolute depths of insanity and pain brought on by a life of being both the abused and abuser in the same breath, it would seem that God had a plan to use me so He gave me what I needed in my life to walk out the steps of one who would be uplifted by His Word, in His will, in the might of His Holy Spirit.

How beautiful and awesome is God’s Word, who is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, magnificent in all His glory, is He. Amen! John’s Vision Of Christ Seated On His Throne In Heaven: Revelation chapter 4 verse 2 to 3: ” Immediately, I (John), was in the Spirit, and behold a throne sat in Heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance, and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.” Why did Christ Jesus came and sacrificed His precious life for sinners like us? Christ (God’s Word made into flesh), came because through flesh (Adam’s flesh) sin entered the world, and then because of sin death entered the whole earth.

This is what I’m hoping for. I don’t know why but I’m always so worried about what people will think about me. It’s like when I’m talking to someone, I’m thinking in my head “Okay what I just said, how will they react, way 1 or way 2” and whilst I’m still talking imm start adjusting what I’m saying based upon their opinion they haven’t even made yet. As I said, no rent but electricity, gas, water, etc. Bills. When she leaves ill have no way to pay. But I turn to God. Pastor Harry Ironside makes the GOOD NEWS (Gospel) abundantly clear in his excellent sermon, WHAT IS THE GOSPEL? God saves any sinner that puts his trust/faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God, without any demand that the sinner be willing to change. It was Jesus who accomplished eternal salvation from an eternal hell for the entire human race. Faith or trust in HIM is the ISSUE…not the sinner….and “we are all sinners’ of one kind or another at various times or another.

Whats this all about? If you trust in Jesus, who will you have to worry about being against you? Jesus said to love your enemies. Eveyone on earth is a sinner. It says in the bible if you committed one sin then you’ve committed them all and nobody is without sin. Jesus did not abolish the Law ( the chosen people/the Jews are required to observe and practice 613 laws) He came as the Lamb, sacrificed so that the whole world may be offered forgiveness. Jesus didnt condemn anyone. He offered the way, the truth, and the life. .You say chosen ones, but who is without sin ? Im not attacking you.. the Bible says the exalted will be humbled, the humbled will be exalted.. when you say you are chosen, you are exalting yourself? No? I think Jesus wants us to follow him and fear not evil, but fear God for He is the judgement and holds the keys to hades and death.

For me, it was all about truly repenting as the Bible instruct us to do. I know many Christians, who have never experienced true repentance. Repentance means one has contrition and is contrite and therefore never ever wants to do any of his past sin again and truly detests his or her sin. It was like God put a magnifying glass on my past, and I could see how riddled with sin and depraved I had been for decades. Until I got to that place, I was never really truly a Christian or walking the Christian life, despite how much I believed and how much scripture I read repentance was the key. I hope everyone can find that.
Regarding ELECTION: Why has God reserved ( elected ) 144,000, at the end-time? So that, by their witness, testimonies and preaching, billions might have the opportunity to obtain salvation!!! ELECTION does not limit salvation to a few: It makes possible the salvation of the many!!!!! I have been tormented these many years by the Reform INTERPRETATION. rather than by the truth of the doctrine itself!!!
One of the things that we have to worry about when we are talking about scripture is reading too much into it. There’s a part when I talk about Abraham and Isaac and the author reads into it in such a way where I have to question everything that he says would have to reread all the scripture that he talks about to make sure he’s not reading into it. Furthermore he misses the point of Abraham and Isaac Abraham offering his son as a sacrifice.
God’s word is very Powerful. Nothing enthuse me most than to read, study or listen to the words of God which is everything to me . I am strong when I am with the word and weak and only fearful when I am not with the word ( JESUS IS THE WORD,THE WAY,TRUTH AND THE LIFE Jesus have made known to US the existence of the Father and Reveals Him to US . And it is not that there’s no evidence for it but the suppression of the evidence. Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
Would God make us for himself, and then, by His own decision, prevent all men from coming to Him? I cringe when I look at God through Reform eyes!!! There MUST BE an accommodation/ reconciliation between salvation being available to the elect only, and The Lord’s having died for ALL MEN- – becoming thereby, the atonement for the sins of all!!!
My ex husband was a “Godly” man. He read many many books. He lovingly and with vigor said his favorite books are by dead guys. He loved used book stores. Now that I know what Pursuing God actually means, I know he is still not saved. There is no God in any church in this area. Praise to God, He has shown me! I drive 3 hrs to church in the next state, but it is undoubtedly a true Mt 16:18 church with a truly born again man in the pulpit. My pastor does not want me toying with the idea of trying to get my ex to come. Not until maybe after I am saved. I see his wisdom in that. But time is getting so short.
No he was reading into it way too much. He’s adding to what’s not there and negating some of the scripture in the New testament. The facts about scripture Isaac to Abraham was a promise from God. Abraham was promised that Isaac would have a great nation. Abraham assumed that after Isaac was sacrificed God was going to raise him from the dead. These are the facts that are in the scripture everything else he’s talking about is not in Scripture and dangerous Waters.
All the unverified claims and silly arguments do not make a god exist. Why doesn’t this God just show himself to all humanity? That would end the argument once and for all. Why does he let his devout followers embarrass themselves with such horrible arguments? There’s an obvious answer. Hint: the invisible, the undetectable and the non-existent appear and act the same.
I would like to ask you a few questions on your belief. 1. Why does Christianity celebrate Christmas if the Messiah was not born Dec 25th? (I have been told by pastors and other Christians it is a date chosen because we don’t know for sure when He was born). Answer found in Luk1&2. 2. How is it then that you celebrate Easter, but it is impossible to get 3 days and 3 nights(Mt 12:40) from Good Friday to the 1st day. Answer found in Lev 23. 3. How is it that you will follow the sacraments of the church but discard the ordinances of our Heavenly Father? ie: Scriptural feasts. Lev 23/Dt16 4. Why is it that you won’t call Our father by His Sacred Hebrew Name which He wrote with His own finger in stone(Ex 31:18)? Instead call Him Lord a pagan deity – Baal (Jer 23:27)? (commanded in Ex 20) 5. Why do you refuse to call our Messiah by His Sacred Hebrew Name, but insist on a Greek pagan Name Jesus. (The letter “J” did not exist more than 500 years ago). I have come in My Father’s Name Joh 5:43. Do you see Jesus in Lord? But I do see Yahusha in Yahuah. Which means Yahuah saves! 6. Why do you not keep the 7th day Sabbath, which is the eternal covenant sign Yahuah has with His people? (Ex 31) But choose the 1st day? But a Sabbath remains for the people of Elohim. (Hebr 4:9) 7. Where exactly in Scripture was the Sabbath changed to the 1st day? Where Yahuah used around a 100 words (depending on translation) to make sure we will remember.(Ex 20). Благодаря за времето и всичко което даваш, за да направиш тези видеа и се надявам повече хора в България да намират канала ви.. аз живея в Австралия и там ви открих, докато търсех нещо на Български да покажа на приятелка за какво говоря… тези теми които дискутирате са били и мои теми от както съм teenager, обичам да чета,дискутирам и обмислям всичко за което говорите. Отварям тези разговори с близки и винаги ни е интересно и научаваме нови неща, но винаги е било на английски до сега, защото повечето информация online по тези теми е на английски, така че много се радвам че вие предавате тази информация и за Българите които имат интерес но нямат достъп до преведени видеа. Паралелна реалности е ако някой навлезе в интернет технолотиите ти или паралелна реалност е когато си отвориш телефона ? Имам чувството, че паралелно семейство иска да открадне чужди привички в ежеднивието на съседно семейство ? Това вече надмина всички знания, които съм придобила в съзнателния си живот ! Надявам се, че идеите ми за здравословен живот ви допадат и можете да ги приложите и в своя ! И най – вече се надявам това семейство да е добронамерено ! Благодаря !
Нямам спомен за случаят Мандела,защото съм била десетина годишна,но преди около 20 години ми е ясен спомена,че по Националната телевизия,тогава все още гледах телевизия, по новините казаха,че едната от певиците от група ABBA – русата е починала .Когато след години казаха,че групата се събира и ще прави някакъв албум,помислих,че,,починалата” певица ще бъде заместена с друга .Когато ги показаха на видео,вече поостарели и им казаха имената,останах силно изненадана.🤔🤔🤔
