The Model Y is equipped with an ambient lighting system that enhances the interior environment. It comes with several preset options, including blue, purple, orange, and green, and can be customized with 256 colors. The Model Y has been updated with fresh interior designs and new wheels in China, and the changes can now be seen in a new leaked video. Green ambient lighting can also be seen spread across the entire dash, and any of the 256 colors can be selected on the screen.
The Model Y does have an ambient lighting option by default, but it is just white. However, Tesla has launched a multicolored LED ambient lighting system retrofit for the Giga Shanghai-made Model Y. The Model Y’s ambient lighting is on the wooden panel and quite minimal, while the Model 3 Highland’s ambient lighting is on the wooden panel. The Model Y’s ambient lighting strip only spans from the driver’s side to the passenger’s side on the dash panel.
Unlike the Model 3, the Model Y retrofit does not include ambient lighting along the door panels. As of July this year, there is no ambient lighting kit that mimics or mirrors the highland refresh on the Model 3 but brings it to the Model Y. Tesla China has launched a multicolored LED ambient lighting system retrofit for the Giga Shanghai-made Model Y.

I told you I was going to cover every aspect of my Tesla Model Y and this is just part of that process. These are all of the features …
There are 1000’s of Teslas being delivered every week. I know because I live close to a Tesla service center and watch the car carriers one after another deliver the vehicles. For your benefit make a article congratulating these people and offering them info about their new EV. You most probably will get more subscribers. The service center near me is so busy that it’s hard to comprehend.
2:35 Do you seriously not know what “parking lights” are? Every car has had them since pretty much the beginning of cars. It’s all side markers, tail lights, and everything else except the headlights. Take a basic old car for example, it has 3 headlight switch positions. OFF, position 1 (parking lights), position 2 (parking lights+headlights)
Amazing quality!! Loved the opening. About take-out food in the frunk, it keeps the stinkiness out of the cabin when the frunk is closed. Just remember to turn off the fan before opening the frunk when you get home because if you don’t the food smell will get sucked right into the cabin through the vents. This is experience talking here 😉
Welp, I’m a fan. A fan of Tesla and the MYP white on white (which I have on order) and also a fan of this website. The opening nighttime charger station b roll was actually quite nice to watch. I appreciate the artist style and eye. I’ve added this to my “tesla” saved articles to review for when I actually get my hands on the MYP in a month or so. I also liked and subbed. TY
Nice quality camera. One light I never knew about, the steering wheel was a surprise. I thought they should’ve put a ring around the balls on the steering wheel but that’s fine with arrows on each side. The one you didn’t mention was the bottom of the doors that show on the ground. I saw some articles that people upgrade those along with the footwell ones to a brighter LED. I do wish they’d put some in the back floor area. Anyway, nice job!
2:58 🤦♂️Those LED fog lights would literally not make a difference, don’t spread misconceptions. Each LED fog light is around 25 watts, so that’s around 50W for both. Given a ~75kWh battery in the long range Y, the main battery can run those lights for 1500hrs or ~2 months straight. Let’s say the car can do 300 miles in 5 hours (60mph) without the foglights…that’s 250wh/mi, with the fog lights on for those 5 hours it will do 299 miles because the fog lights would eat up an additional 250 watts, meaning you’ll lose 1 mile of range in total or 0.3%. Oh, it’s not because you wanna be precise with the settings, it’s becase you can turn the fog lights on an off in any car that offers them. Why do I have the feeling you’ve never driven a car before, your automotive knowledge is just scraping rock bottom here…
