I use this all the time and it works amazingly well. I use it for a very different application than others though I believe. I use it on Trim work. Filling nail holes, patching damage, filling voids in paintable cabinets and such. I can even fix small holes in Doors with this. I definitely wouldn’t use this on large areas because it’s too thick and heavy.
I recently used this brand, both the spackle and also their version of the drywall mud, and both turned out great. I had two holes to patch, 4 ” and like 8″. The smaller one looks great, even without texture.. going to sell the house so I’m not super concerned about it. The larger patch was rough bc I used too much of the mud so it’s slightly lumpy, but at least the hole is gone and the wall is the same color again lol.
