  • I’m looking to buy a Mooney but I don’t want to spend 100K I have found some older models for around 25-30K that I could fix up myself and save alot of money. What are the key factors I need to look for when buying. What the max hours on the motor and the cost to make it flyable again if it’s out of annual? I know there alot if factors but need a baseline to start before buying something that isn’t worth fixing up and losing money on. Currently in the progress of completing my 40 hours to get my private pilot certificate in Arizona.

  • Steve, I really like what is happening on your site and here in YouTube. I recently had my father donate to me a set of Comanche seats for my 1958 Comanche 250. I went to put them on the rails and found that the co-pilot front works but the pilot side will NOT go on the rails…. One mount seems to be about 1 inch too high! I have some pictures for you but wondered if you had run into this sort of thing before, or if you could offer some help in how to resolve this… I really LOVE the look of the new seats, but I don’t want to swap only one front and the rear…. BLUE and TAN do not always look good!
