For this scene parents get frustrated when they see their child doing something dangerous and get scared because they care. Parents don’t want to lose their children. That’s why it’s important to say no to drugs and alcohol abuse. Kids today are desensitized by informercials and ads on tv about drugs and alcohol abuse and it’s everywhere in America and other states. It’s our responsibility to say no.
As a person who smokes weed to relax, weed should be off the schedule 1 drug act. People who say it’s a “gateway drug” are idiots and need to realize that doing hard drugs is a choice, not because weed made them do it. Addiction or in some people’s mind a “disease” is a scapegoat for people who don’t want to take responsibility for their addiction and place blame on something else. With all the times I’ve smoked weed, not once have I had any urge to do harder drugs. I.e meth, pills ect. Mainly because my older half brother died of a drug overdose when I was 15. I made a promise to my older sister that I would never do drugs, or get into a vehicle with anyone who was on drugs or drinking.
