Beautiful And Contemporary Black Design?

Black History Month has led to the recognition of Black contemporary architects and designers, who have created stunning interior spaces that use black as the protagonist element. Charles McAfee, a Black contemporary, is renowned for his swimming pool and pool house in Wichita, Illinois. Modern design is often used interchangeably with contemporary design, but these are two different styles and periods. Black interiors, designed for and by Black homeowners, are now receiving new attention, documented and analyzed in publications, exhibitions, and more.

There are 18 examples of black houses with different styles, materials, and textures, ranging from metallic to matte, A-frame to Victorian. Ethiopian American artist and industrial designer Jomo Tariku launched his collection in 2017 to define a new design language of modern African-themed furniture. Black interiors are now receiving new attention, with spaces designed for and by Black homeowners receiving new attention.

Black interiors have gained currency in recent years, with seven projects using black in different ways, from luxury modern black house interiors to modern barn houses. These black house designs suit every taste and style, providing an alluring intrigue with every detail meticulously crafted to elevate living.
