📹 *NEW* DEEP FALL CLEAN WITH ME //PATIO DECORATING AND NEW FALL DECORATIONS // DAY IN THE LIFE
Thank you so much for joining me today! We are going to deep clean the house, I planned on taking down all the fall decorations …
Looks great! A quick suggestion for Jeremy: I’ve taken quote a number of articlegraphy classes, and it’s a general rule of thumb that you want to pan in the same direction throughout the course of your article. I got what you were going for — the old kitchen shown by panning from left to right, the new right to left to create a distinction/difference, but I found the panning a bit distracting and think that panning one way throughout the entire article would be a smoother technique. The one place I did like the switch up of the pan was in your bathroom shots (you showed the old bathroom bottom to top and the new top to bottom), but in the rest of the film I found the panning dizzying. Just a suggestion! I hope it helps! x
Love you new hair cut. Thank you for sharing so openly Both my parents passed in the fall and that is so smart to slow down that helps me to realize what I should try to help myself during this time. Lady, I don’t think you realize what A (Blessing) / help you are to it others that you don’t even know. Thank you again for being you.
First, let me just say that I absolutely love the new hair! I recently got mine done, cut a bit shorter, trying to embrace those curls, lol! Shorter hair looks good on you, follows along with the new decade in your life. Also love the natural nails, you have beautiful hands, and I’m so envious. My hands are really small, don’t know how I managed to play the piano for 40 years! Anyway, I squirrel away every day off. My to do list turns into To Do 2.0, and the next thing you know, I’m down the rabbit hole of something else, but I think that’s a sign of a healthy mind. At least I hope it is!
As far as your style changing??? It’s not your style …it’s you moving into a different inner season… being in my 7th decade I realized this as well around your age that I crave that calmness, neutrality of my spaces with just a pop of color that too is ” restful” but complimentary… my Nursing career is over now but it was laden with raising my boys, working full time and just chief cook and bottle washer! As you ARE! So embrace all of these changes! Blessings for this upcoming week. I think and talk to both my parents all. The time. Your Mom is reflecting to you to slow down and be happy and restful to your mind and body . We love you Lauren
I felt like you. I was so overwhelmed. I went to oceaneau beach September the 18th. Then I had to go to the doctor in the box and I had COVID at my friend’s house so I had to get on them. Pills legally to say I was very sick. I came home the 22nd I miss perusal you so I’m catching up. Always enjoy you.❤❤
Hello Lovely Lauren ☺️ Did you just dangle that huge carrot and leave me hoping?!! With all you do, it’s a lot to ask, but I would absolutely cherish to own some signature seasonal pillows, throws and scents from you!!! 🤗 candles, blankets and pillows that I could change my porch when the seasons change. So many of us love you for that inspo, and it really would be special to click o line and buy some of your style. Consider this and file it in your perfectly organised mind. I’m so happy to walk a similar journey, it’s not all as pretty as the end result, I know with this comes perfection, people pleasing and some stress hormone, the way you remind us to care for ourselves is very helpful. Your family, pets and home are so fortunate to have you, but we your followers also really have to say Thankyou! I appreciate you.
Lauren I love the new hair! It’s so very classy. I love the more natural nails too. You’re a natural beauty. I am praying for you. I know each anniversary and holiday is so challenging to endure. I love the new less is more, look. Change is good especially when going through difficult times of the year. ❤❤❤
You look beautiful, love your new haircut. Sometimes we just need a reset I think it’s an expression of all the personal growth you’ve made this year. Just continue to be your authentic self. If you don’t want to put up 15 trees don’t. Give that time back to yourself and your family. Your decor is beautiful with 1 tree or 15. I enjoy your articles and creativity either way. Prayers for you as you come up to your mom’s anniversary. You have handled it with such grace and love for her.
Luv your hair, never thought of using cream cheese instead of ricotta cheese as I am not a fan of it either. My mom always used cottage cheese but the cream cheese sounds yummier! I adore the lighter tones for your fall decorating instead of the bold oranges and reds! So calming! I know for me, I changed so much after my mom passed. Not sure why that is but for many it’s a real transition so with that comes new layers of ourselves you know. Just be gentle and loving towards yourself and let those new layers come out and show them off with pride! 😉🙏
Your thoughts and reflections after turning 40 is spot on! I went through the same thing myself. After a certain age you just want simple and less is more. I totally understand and respect it. You look gorgeous as usual with your short hair and the decorations are wonderful! My thoughts are with you this week re: loss of a loved one ❤
I have always thought that you were a very pretty lady, but WOW! The new hair cut is absolutely BEAUTIFUL on you and easily took 10 years off your age❤. (Not that you even looked your age before) I look forward to all of your articles. Have a wonderful and blessed coming new week for you and your family.
I was thinking about how you wanted to sort of simplify your appearance and your decorating as well. I think it helps to calm you. You are entering a difficult time with your mom’s passing last year. You need calmness and peace right now. And simplicity. I love how you redecorated with the softer colors. I did softer colors this year too and I really like the look. You were asking if we like to buy decor in pairs or sets. And I always try to do that since I love symmetry. Take care now and I always look forward to your wonderful articles.
Hi Lauren! I love the new hair change. I’m sure it’s quite a bit easier than having extensions. Things change sometimes for people after the death of a loved one. It happened with my daughter and I upon losing my husband last year. We are slowly changing some things in our home too. I found it to be theraputic. ❤
Best mantel ever!! My favourite gentle feeling in your living area. Your boldness is not gone, life is like the seasons, we will reflect them with personal being, and right now you need the peace and tranquility of neutral beauty. Not overwhelmed, overstimulated, and also, the richness and nostalgia of reds and golds will come when your spirit is able to feel the moment. Christmas will transform your spirit and let it guide you.
I had to have my hair colored. I go all summer without doing it to give my hair and pocket a break. I go gray fast I am 55 on Tuesday so. I had my hair cut shorter than normal and my hair grows fast and I leave it for a while. It’s good to change things up as we get older. We are women who need to do it as we evolve in life. I love your hair cut.
Girl, your hair is beautiful at this length. I’m not sure you know just how much we all love you and your website is always the real deal. Love how you have your kids away from the camera.. Less is more these days. We all need to make changes. Sometimes e everything gets stale, well just tiresome. When we refresh it gives us a new perspective..🎃🙂You are amazing lady. And we love you. 🍁🎃🍂
Lauren, your new hair is lovely. We can really see your beautiful face now ❤. I love the more natural look on you. As for overwhelm, I know what you mean. Take it easy on yourself. You’ve been through a major life upset and it may be your body telling you to slow down. I know that I’ve been through this. Sending you lots of love xox
❤Lauren love the short hair..looks very beautiful 😍 and it is most likely easier to care for. Wow you are one busy woman😊 There is nothing wrong with changing things up in your life, obviously it is sometimes you need right now❤. Lasagna looks delicious 😋 yum. Love the outside pillow cases and change 🍂🍁. Thanks for the update take care. Looking forward to all your next articles in October🎃
I had to stop the article so I could tell you how much I adore your new look! From your cropped tee and black jeans to your cute haircut and natural nails, I am LOVING your simple, young appearance. You look so amazing! Everyone deserves to rest their body. Lauren, you are simply amazing. I bet you are stunning with darker hair, too. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve loved every part of you for the years I’ve watched you. No matter how you change your “frills” you are stunning. That’s all…now back to perusal you. You’re the best.❤❤
I loved your long hair, But the short hair is beauitiful on you also. We all need change now and then. It sounds to me like you are coming up on the Anniversary of losing your Mom ~ I lost my Mom and my Husband within a year of each other. That was Eight yrs ago, and I still have my moments. it really is like the Ocean and is calm on some days and rough on others. I so Appreciate you and your article’s I was missing you the last few weeks. My husbands birthday was Halloween and I would go all out, only now I’m finding myself doing the Falloween. Slowing down is good, less is more ~ just do what gives You Joy 💕🍂🍁🍂💕
I just love your home Lauren . Your so gifted with an eye for interior design . When we didn’t hear from you via a article I knew you were just too busy . Your hair looks beautiful, and working 6 days a week and juggling work and family is so challenging. To add to that is your such a great mom and wife that is truly conveyed in your love of home and family . As women we go through seasons in life, as we evolve, build our families, strive to be good decent individuals, and hold on to what we’re called to do in life – our purpose . To add to that is your mom’s anniversary which is coming up and can be like an internal countdown. It’s natural to need a cluttered free home and changing things up . Praise God for your husband who is supportive and loving. I’m praying for you and amazed how much you accomplished . You needed this Saturday all the while inspiring us with your genuine honesty of just where your at in life . Masses of women can identify with you Lauren and in some way your challenges as a working mom made us all feel we’re not alone . 👏🏽✨🙏🙋🏽♀️🏡 💗
Love the shorter hair, you look beautiful with it! I get it girl, I am the same way when it comes to cleaning. It starts with looking for something and realizing that you need to clean and organize the place you are looking in! The house looks beautiful as always, and I might have to use some of your ideas in my home. Thanks for sharing!!
Lauren you are just going into a new season of life you are not the same person in your 30s as you are in your 20s so it will be in your 40s your growing,& evolving it’s normal for your thinking & style to change.Embrace it & enjoy it just go with the flow.love your extensions but love your shorter her you look younger & trendy.your a great mum give yourself a pat on the back ❤ xxx
Nothing is wrong!!!! Life is busy so enjoy the time for yourself and your family. I’m two years older than you and I went trough the same change. I love to decorate but I can’t stand much of anything anymore. I still use my decorations but not all at once. I feel that now I put more effort on the details than the whole. I hope you find some sensed on my words, I completely understand you. Have a lovely week.
Lauren. A compliment. Your home life reminds me of days gone by. Home cooked meals, constantly cleaning and organizing, and at the end of a long day, appreciative of your accomplishments. Seeing you with short hair, after being with you from almost the beginning, is weird, but love your love of family and home. Tfs cheers
OMG.. seeing your dining room table made me feel so much better.. girl you have no clue! I am embarrassed to say it, but that’s how my dining room table looked for the last month! I brought all my fall stuff down, took it all out and placed it on my dining room table, and right before I went to decorate a hurricane hit us. We live down in New Orleans and we are sandwiched in between two canals, and unfortunately one of them compromised, overflowed, and our whole neighborhood was flooded within an hour. We got about 3 feet of water. Thank god we rebuilt our home up 5 feet off the ground after hurricane Katrina, so our home was spared however our vehicles were not. We lost all 4 of our cars. Anyway, I just got so busy after the hurricane, the last thing I was thinking of was decorating my house for fall. But I finally got to it the other day and it’s the first time in a month that my dining room table has been available for my family to sit down and eat at🤦🏽♀️. I have felt so anxious over it! Every time I walked by, I felt like it was side eyeing me, lol! So seeing your table filled up with stuff just made my heart so happy.. I’m not ALONE IN THIS WORLD!!!!😂❤
Everything looks great! The.house and especially YOU. I can completely relate to losing your mom. My mom passed on 12/23/23 and there are some days I feel like I’m jumping off the deep end with my weird decisions. Just give yourself grace, there is no describing the feelings of losing your mom. Thanks for always sharing. You are the first person I ever began perusal on YOUTUBE years ago and I love the inspiration you give me to decorate my home. It makes me so happy to put all the decor up and I know my mom would love seeing it.
Love your haircut ♥️ Pepe looks like a very helpful pup😊 Looking forward to seeing your decoration for Halloween 🎃 I’m going in the direction of bats and witches this year🍁it will be 3 years since my sweet momma passed on October 2nd. This is a very hard time for me too ♥️ your articles make me smile😊 God bless you and your family❣️
That’s a huge lasagna …😳 looks delish 😋. I have been following you for a while you do alot ALOT. Just make sure your giving yourself a chance to catch your breath. The neutral brown is so beautiful with the plaid neutral pillows. I think you wrote the “in style ” look this fall with your inspo from your previous articles. Your hair is cute 😍 you will enjoy it I know. Pepes like ” can she just stop messing with those boxes & give me a hug” lol 🤭. He’s a cutie have a great week young lady 💗
I like your hair. Will be so much easier to care for, style, etc. I usually give mine a chop in summer. Change is good. Do what works for you. While I love the look of decorating every room to the hilt. I can’t do it anymore. I’m going to be 65 next month. It’s just me and my hubs,, I m a 3 time cancer survivor with a bad back. I’ve been out of commission for 2 mos with sciatica spasms. My Fall decorating has been slow going. I’m going to wait until my daughter gets back from her trip for Halloween decorating. She’s the Halloween decor Queen!
Good for you mommy Lauren to have time to watch a movie and relax outside in your beautiful outdoor patio for a cup of coffee ☕️ or wine 🍷 with your hubby …. YOU need your mommy time always… love the neutrals actually it’s so simple but elegant …. Enjoy this fall season cooking decorating and inspiring the world that’s what you best and I’m sure that’s your purpose in life ( besides being a great mother to your kids and pets & a wonderful wife…. One day your kids will be decorating & cooking for you. They grow up so fast so enjoy every moment ❤I love perusal you always you are truly the best ever … your loyal fav Carmen from Disney in Orlando…. I nicknamed you the energizer hunny you are non stop but you have the passion the energy and the heart it is all of this that you do that makes you YOU and makes you happy that’s what it’s all about in life really 😊👍your mom loves to see you happy remember that I know mine does 😇🙏
Lovin the short hair! I bet it’s so much easier to get ready in the morning. I feel ya about distractions. Is there such a thing as adult-onset ADD? 😉 I can’t walk out of a room now without forgetting what I was going to do or I go to another room to get something and get distracted by something in that room! Who am I now? I think alot of us are mellowing out our colors for a more natural look now. I had some florals that I still liked but they were just too bright, I painted them with diluted brown paint to tone it down without spending a penny.
I’ve definitely gone through changes over the years. Lately and for some time our life has just gotten out of hand. There is too much to do all the time, health situations make it even more difficult. Slowly but surely I’ve downsized so much stuff and still continue to do so. We are selling our 2nd home and I know that will relieve so much stress/pressure. Sometimes you just feel like you need a change, whether that be arranging furniture, getting new dishes, changing what you like to wear or deciding you want to live with WAY less. I think it was sweet that your husband checked in with you, seeing all the changes you were making that were out of character.
I’ve watched many of your articles and I love this one the best…so real and down to Earth!! Cute new doo! I bet it feels great. After my mom passed away, I too wanted to slow way down and simplify everything in my life. Losing our Mom who’s our best friend, changes us, our priorities, values, and how we feel about things. It takes several years to begin to get to know our new selves due to the loss. Remember, there is nothing wrong with you, you are just evolving. Be patient and kind to yourself. Trust that you will be comfortable in your own ‘skin’ again! Enjoy this journey, it’s the best one!
Oh gosh, love your hair, can’t go wrong with a bob. I’m old enough to be your mother, but we all go through life we still have our core things we like ( me horses, cowboys, and a bit rustic) but we change. I know I don’t decorate like I use to. Too much fuss and muss. Love your new fall decor. We don’t do much for Halloween as there is a bit of, how do I say without offending anyone, well you know bad stuff. Though we certainly enjoy seeing kids in costumes etc. We hae the busiest street in town of 2000 and rather than get up every few seconds we just put a big bowl of goodies out and a note to be nice and only take a piece or two. Anyway blessings to you, know you miss your momma just as I do..y mom has been gone over 30 years, best mom and a courageous one who fought cancer❤❤❤Oh Pepe so dang cute😊
Everything looks great, as usual. I shifted to softer, neutral Fall decor a few years ago and love it. I find it calming and still feel my home looks like Fall without the traditional, rust, deep orange and deep reds. Just like our home decor taste changes, I think the same happens with seasonal decor. As far as minimizing. Things can still look spectacular and festive. We just don’t need to always cover every nook in the house. Sometimes a little less is best. Hair, you look good in anything. I am partial to long hair but lately many around me have been going shorter. It always grows back, if you decide you want length again.
Hi Lauren. Your hair is so cute. I did the same thing to mine last week. It had gotten so long I kept pulling it up in a messy bun and I finally said to cut it off. I just wanted to tell you thank you for your calm demeanor online. I know you say you have ADD, but you can’t tell when you are speaking 🙂 I have OCD and anxiety plus some medical issues where I’m struggling with pain and stiffness. I just got done having an anxiety meltdown, so I got in bed and turned on your article, because I knew it would calm me. Thanks for taking us along through your day. Love all your decorating, cooking, and great ideas❤
I think when it comes to decorating, that less is more. Too much is overwhelming. Keeping it simple can still be very cozy and magical. Also, I absolutely love your hair shorter! It not only makes you look younger, but overall it makes you look like you are glowing from the inside out! Love love love! 😊❤
Love the calm, relaxing decor of the living room. What a perfect place to relax and unwind after dinner. The backyard and patio space is also just beautiful! Love how you, like me, and so many others get side-tracked when going room to room. But, yes, at the end of the day – so much checked off the list. Love the new look too, Lauren!
Hi Lauren. Hello from the UK. I’m loving the article❤. You inspire me with your ideas and outlook on life.. I sadly lost my mom this year and decorating really gives me a form of escape and something I really.enjoy, in what can be hard times. Like you, I decorate all seasons and love it but totally get your comment about being overwhelmed sometimes when all the boxes come down but so worth it when all done!.x
It’s a consensus….we love your hair! Very chic! This article resonates with me Lauren. Losing very special people and animals so close to one another is traumatic. All of a sudden there is a huge shift in everything, and it is not by your choice. The older we get the more aware we are of the fragility of life. You are making changes now that you control and chose, and they will help you go forward. Your new hair, sweet Pepe, how you decorate, and how you honor your mom and Chuey are really significant. I really enjoy your website!!!!
Hi Lauren! Something was very different in this article. Somehow, you seem slower, calmer. I can’t put my finger directly on it, but yes, you are different, but in a good way. Maybe we are seeing more of the real “you.” When we lose a parent, or someone very dear to us, we become more vulnerable and maybe that is what I’m seeing and hearing. At any rate, it makes you even more relatable and genuine. Not that you weren’t always that way, but it has come more to the surface. My parents have been gone for over 10 years and I still talk to them. Keeping in touch with them does make it easier. There’s nothing wrong with you, you just are putting your barriers down. And there’s nothing wrong with simplifying your life and changing your priorities. You are the captain of your own ship and sometimes you need to sail through calm waters!
first girlfriend, the hair looks good. the hair before look good too but this looks really good on you so keep it up! yes, I have these squirrel moments. as a matter of fact it happened to me this weekend I stopped and I was just and then it’s like oh my God where’d the hour go and then where goes 45 minutes. 🤎🤎👏🏾👍🏾… I’m trying to get the whole more cozy for fall right now it’s just like it feels like a bunch of decorations and I need to incorporate more like more of everything if possible!!! I’m not a huge halloweeny so I’ll be bypassing that and going straight into Christmas. I don’t even do Thanksgiving anymore… 😂😊
I didn’t recognize you at first You look so so young I love it on you Your hubby was funny saying who are u But as we get older our tastes are different Your decor is beautiful, classy I love how you always do a beautiful tribute to your mother, she had beautiful ithings for u to use I am like that also buying in twos and the 4 packs 2 Lol I live alone, I keep my fall decorations and add Halloween I don’t do much for Halloween but just enough Can you believe on my street I am the only one that fixes her home every holiday outside I live in Texas for the past 5 years coming from Boston Massachusetts we all went overboard for each holiday I don’t get it Happy Monday, Gm
Oh girl, love the hair and as a woman who is turning 50 in 10 days, I can tell you this is 40 year-old Lauren. You just sort of turn a corner and decide that you really want to do away with anything unnecessary and simplify your life when you turn 40. All of my girlfriends felt the same way when we turned 40 that first week we just decided we’re gonna soften lighten the load simplify if you will and I can tell you, it is glorious. Not that you can’t still do all the things you just really pair it down to the things that are really really necessary and important.
Girl, you are a hot mess BUT I love you. You show us mamas it’s OK to have more than one project going on at a time. You make everything look so natural and a norm for us busy gals by telling us its ok we will be fine and that we are beautiful, yet we can be a hot mess and have a messy home. You are such an inspiration, and full of energy. I just wish I had your budget. Love you and thank you for sharing.
Love love love!!!! I never really got around to decorating for fall. I always want to do a deep deep clean first and with fall sports and mid renovations, never happened. I never decorate for Halloween this early, but the kids are begging, so we did a slow start this last weekend and I will prob finish by this coming weekend. ❤
There is absolutely nothing wrong with scaling back. My fall decor is finally up and my Halloween wreath is hung outside my kitchen door. My hair was longer than yours and I cut it twice. It is so simple to care for now. I do use a hot brush from Lange as it gives me some body. My hair is about to the top of my shoulders. Sometimes we over do things to compensate on how we feel. Or trying not to feel.
Doesn’t it feel wonderful to not have to mess with the long hair and the nails? You look great either way but I think as we get older we just don’t want or need all the extra things to take care of. Being in my 70s I’ve noticed that as I’ve aged I don’t want all the decor and items around anymore, I still have some decor but it’s light in my home. Really I don’t want to dust it all and change it out every season. Love your decor and perusal yours and other YouTube websites, just don’t want to do it all myself anymore.
I am so grateful for your articles🤍 they are both estetic and real, it is so rare. I can’t find anything like this on the entire youtube😄 such quality🦋 (and I have enjoyed your early fall articlees, as the trees where I live turned orange a while ago and I saw the first snowflakes of the season yesterday❄️ thankfully they were not here to stay quite yet)
A few weeks ago, I was perusal some of your old fall articles and noticed you had short hair in them, and I thought to myself, I really like her in short hair, and here you are once again. I really like the short hair on you, I am glad you went back to it. And isn’t it nice not to fuss with fake nails? I too have stopped wearing the fake nails and I feel so much better not having to worry about them falling off at the most inopportune time. I am looking forward to your Halloween decorating article.
I love your hair, the length is really nice. You are very beautiful and real. I have decorated for fall, I do not decorate for Halloween since all my children are grown and out of the house with their own children, it saves me time before getting out the christmas decor. I find decorating helps when things are off, it gives you a joy when you are redoing a room or adding new or old to a space. I do not buy in twos unless I need to, I love to find a 1 of a kind decor piece.
Was going to tell you we had new floors put in our whole house new roof now there doing the Tasha on house Omg all the dust we moved all furniture what we could but had wash everything in cabinets so I have not been able to decorate an it’s made me so depressed 😢 I hang my house back yours always makes me happy love your haircut bear hugs Shane
Pepe, is the cutest. Lauren, you hair cut, is just beautiful. You look great. Wow, and wow, for all you do. It is just beautiful. We r unique individuals, and our taste does change, and also, emotionally, you r distracted, with your loss. Take it easy, and God bless you, for you do a lot. You are a true great mom. Thank you for sharing, your dinner looks delicious. 😋 🙏🥰❤️👍🧡🌻✝️🍂🌟🍁🐿️
Love your new look. I think it looks adorable. Hey sometimes is good to change things out a little.. It looks cute. I see you a lot skinnier too. You looked skinny before too. I buy things either one item or in 3s, odd numbers. The neutral decor is nice I personally love colors but hey you do what makes you feel good and happy. I decorated for fall last week of September so I can just relax for October since I dont decorate for Halloween. But come November 1st is time to decorate for my favorite of all CHRISTMAS!! THANKS LAUREN for sharing. Who are you you say and I say you are you. We are always evolving and there is nothing wrong with change. Fall is proof that change is beautiful.
I always look forward to perusal your articles! You are so inspiring…It sometimes feels overwhelming when I have just cleaned all day on Saturday and by Monday it looks like I didn’t do anything! I work full time, take care of the yard work, laundry, cleaning and of course decorating for my family of 5 ranging in ages from 62 to 6 months old. When I watch and/ or listen to you while I tackle what ever is needed for that day (which usually includes at least one clogged toilet or our golden doodle digging another hole under the fence to run around and visit the neighbors) I feel better! You make the hard jobs seem less insurmountable! Thank you for all the work you put in to creating such an uplifting website!!!!
You are in total overload with all that you do! It is nice to see you be able to create decor that is more settling and less stimulating for you. I too personally feel the need to have more subtle colors that reflect and It look beautiful. Your talent abounds and we all appreciate your exceptional decor.
OMG! Beautiful B4 the haircut. Sophisticated Lauren. I love it! I am almost 66. About 20 years ago I decided to just be me in all my glory. Cut my hair with no more dying, no more nails, no more wasted time away from my family & home life. I feel free & secure in my looks. A nice spa day at home is magnificent. Enjoy my dear!! Happy Fall & Halloween!!
Hubba Hubba! Way to go Lauren! Love the change. And I was thinking about you the other day realizing that the Anniversary of your Mom’s passing was coming up. Just realize, as you’re feeling all of your feelings, that your mom is smiling down on you and knows exactly how you are doing. I’m sure that she oh so proud of the woman you are and how hard you’re working at being happy again! Sending hugs🌸
Quite awhile ago, you had a article where you decorated with apples for “pre-fall” – and I loved it so much – I started decorating with apples/apple cider theme at the end of August. Come the end of September, I leave the base decorations up and switch out all the apples for pumpkins/candy corn/trick or treat decorating. Thanks again for that inspo – I just love it. Have a great week! – to all your subscribers too!!! 🙂
Girl, my spirit animal is a squirrel😂 We are currently renovating so I can’t wait to get everything in place so I can pull out Halloween decorations. I’m doing what I can, and just enjoying this season of chaos. As we are packing/unpacking I am letting go of a lot that just doesn’t serve me anymore. It is freeing and will leave room for the things we do love (once we can get to them😁. As always, enjoy your vlogs. Happy October!
Love your hair. Before I had children I used to spend so much money on hair and nails that was just insane and not to mention the time. I found it difficult to have nails when I brought my first baby home from the hospital and had to change diapers 😂 my husband did that in the very beginning he was very much involved with that. Our oldest child is 9 and we have 3 kids total. I just can’t stand nails anymore for some reason they bother me now when I cook, do dishes and just every day tasks. I started losing my hair postpartum so I just kept it shoulder length but my hair used to be down to my butt and then I’d just always have to in a bun because those tiny little hands would snatch it and boy it hurts. Any mama can probably relate to that lol you look so good either way because you are a beautiful person inside❤
Losing out parents is so hard. We never think of our lives without them and are so unprepared when they leave us. The changes you are going through is part of your grief process and a little bit of menopause just for fun. Please know that you are doing such an amazing job of parenting, wif-ng and life. I am always in awe of you. Keep it up and know there are so many of us that SEE you. That is so important. It takes a while to adjust to such a big loss. It truly just takes time. Love and hugs from Florida! <3
I can totally relate to what you’re saying! I started decorating real early in life because my mom was ill and stayed that way until her early death, and I had to take over. I’ve been decorating like a mad woman ever since. In fact, it’s what I did for a living. By the time I hit my early 60s, I totally needed to see less and not the bright orange colors just like you were saying, so you are not alone, my dear! God’s many blessings to you and your sweet family!🥰💗🙏
Love your haircut! I just did the exact same thing to mine a month ago and I couldn’t be happier! Oh! The main reason I jumped on here is to tell you that you are not alone my brain works just like yours when it comes to cleaning and decorating!!! A.D.D. City!!😂 So funny but glad to know I have kindred spirits out there! Please give Pepe a kiss from me…. He is adorable!! Love you Lauren!!❤
