  • This is legit, the first YouTube diy website that I’ve seen in two years that: Isn’t annoying, irritating, a waste of time – (she’s genuinely educational, mentions the dog but doesn’t go on and on about things no one cares about, music isn’t over powering, isn’t overly excited about nothing thinking that’s the way to connect with viewers. She’s articulate, intelligent and does things her own way vs following trends ), isn’t full of self explanatory content, we aren’t just perusal someone decorate their home with stuff that you wouldn’t/couldn’t find or use…meaning – she finds general items and applies changes that are inspirational, classic, stylish, non trendy crap you’ll throw out in a year and FULL of great taste ideas all the way from completely restoring to just a touch of a small change giving the piece a fresh feel. Brilliantly done. She also makes me feel ok with changing a piece many times without fear of messing up. (To the owner of the website: Thank You so much for your time and advice and sharing it with the world!)

  • I cannot believe I have not found you sooner! This was just the most fab and relaxed Sunday evening I have had in a while! I thought I had saw every idea know to man ………BUT……I cozied up with a pot of tea and watched yours smiling the whole way through. You and your creations are absolutely fabulous x Bright Spring Blessings 🌻🌻🌻

  • Tracey, I loved so many of the projects today. I live in a historic house outside Charleston SC and try to keep my decorating in line with what works with the house but I do find so many so many of the things you do I can modify to work. And of course I love the way you recycle. Have a wonderful week.

  • Hi Tracy, I came across your youtube by sheer accident while perusal other shows and as I luv, luv decorating and doing various projects, I was curious and am so glad I did, as I am now hooked. I’m from DownUnder and can’t stop perusal your shows as they are so full of great ideas and techniques. Keep up the good work and, by the way, saw your house tour article and fell in luv with your beautiful home.

  • Hi Tracey, Thank you for all your inspirational ideas. I love all your work, absolutely fantastic. I love all crafts and upcycling. I kind of lost my way with crafts after suffering a serious head injury. I came across your website by accident, which I’m really pleased I did because now I’m looking for items to upcycle, and up to now, I have a box full. I love popping in Charity shops to see what they have. My restart of upcycling is wrapping a glass lamp base with coir, which I’m waiting to be delivered. So, once again, thank you for your brilliant ideas ❤xx

  • Hello!! Oh my GOODNESS! I’m half way through and as I watch I’m gathering so many ideas. At this point I’ve subbed and created a file on my phone just for you!! I’m moving from the southern California desert across the country to a small town that fits your aesthetic perfectly, both on the streets of downtown and in ALL the vintage and antique shops in town. Just yesterday I was going through a shed that was holding my old stuff AND my parents’ old stuff (some of which is REALLY old, cuz I’m 65) and between you and what I found yesterday I have totally decorated my new house… at least in my head!! As I dug out my old things I’m reminded that I’ve always loved mirrors and re-doing my re-dos. Such fun!! You’ve gotten me excited about the move again – it’s going to be a real chore – and I greatly appreciate that!! Hugs from the southern California desert (at least for now), MK 🤗🏜🤗

  • I just discovered your website and I am loving your content. I used to be a professional Storefront Designer and trained in London. Many of these techniques and tips I had learned on my course……..I still use them today to create items for my home. I have subscribed as I feel very inspired to start creating and revamping again! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

  • I just came across your website and after perusal half the article I hit “subscribe”. I’m so tired of our American crafters doing cheap dollar store decor. Your projects have real substance. I love your use of tile grout on the large planter. Auctions aren’t popular in my area so I turned green with envy over your finds. Looking forward to more inspiration!

  • Unbelievable, how you brought those four club chairs back from the dead was incredible, Congratulations what an adventure. 🎉👏👍 My only question, with the friction of guests sitting in the chairs, would the layers of wax and paint, would the faux leather ever crack? I just discovered your delicious website, so much Fun! Keep up the great work ❤️🎉❤️

  • Again such a lovely range of ideas for us to use. I am going to do one of our lamps and I will place the other pottery I have already done, with your special techniques and place it in our kitchen when it is complete. We are still busy fixing floors that were eaten by the dry ants. But we are getting there. Thank goodness our weather is a little cooler. Thanks Tracey for a very inspirational episode. Enjoy your week ahead.

  • Another lovely, inspiring article. You are so very talented. Mirrors??? You’re speaking my language. I have mirrors in almost every room in my house. 😉. I have a beautiful collection on the walls in my powder room on the main floor of vintage hand mirrors. I love every one of them. Loved all your projects. You have a beautiful tan, were you away somewhere?

  • I love your imagination and ingenuity. We have recently begun a total rebuild and renovation of a 100 year old barn that was converted to a home at sometime in it’s past. It is a blank canvas for us. As you can imagine, the cost overruns have been many. I look forward to trying some of your ideas and techniques when we finally arrive at the fun stage…decorating. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

  • Oh my… the blues and greens and purples of those hydrangeas in that old wood box is absolute perfection!!!!! It could be the center of a still life painting! Ever since I saw you put those yarn balls of wool in a basket, I now look for them every time I go thrifting. Its such a beautiful composition in texture. The distressed headboard and mirror on the veranda are a work of art!!!!! Your vision never fails to impress me! How do you even sleep at night with all these ideas? I would definitely have to keep a notebook and pen on my nightstand! Have a happy day Tracey!

  • Just Wow…I loved all your projects, so beautiful & creative. I am brand new to your website just happened to find it. I can’t pick just one, but the idea with the old herbs is great! Definitely going thru my spice rack. One question, does the herbs give off a scent? I subscribed and I’m looking forward to many more articles.😊😊❤❤🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸 Pamela

  • Well, Tracy, my favorite Sunday treat is over, unless I decide to watch the whole article again! I could just watch you and sweet Bertie in your lovely home for hours. I think my favorite-oh, who are we kidding-they’re all favorites, but I do love the knitting yarn puff flowers. So much so that I have been on the lookout for a deal like yours ever since I saw you make them. Love everything, dear lady. Thanks for the compilation. Enjoyed everything all over again. ‘Til next Sunday

  • Fabulous talent! Thanks so much for sharing! I understand how YouTube works and how hitting the thumbs up button helps to spread your articles. I have my own music YouTube website, I’m not monetized, I just love music and fun photography but if I don’t get the likes, many miss out. Glad I found your website. Your talent is up my alley so I just subscribed I’m inspired now and headed to my art studio, thanks again! 🥰

  • what a great overview of the projects together with the technics you use. the pompons are just adorable and so easy to make, I would use them year ’round! do you have also some advises on how to store the decoration items, or maybe you could share with us how you store yours? everyone here in youtube seems to use plastic bins, and containers, and dividers and God knows what amazon has to offer, but as good as these look, I’m wondering if there are other ideas aroung. Maybe an idea for one of your next articles? Have a lovely evening and thanks for sharing!

  • I love your wrapped flex💙 but I have some vintage lamps that the rope might not work. Have you ever considered using velvet choker cording? It’s a velvet tube comes in different widths. My biggest concern is hiding the glue edges but possibly could cover with a silk cord or something. Oh I’ve been perusal for a while but missed the vinyl chair makeover. How are they holding up?

  • Most wonderful article, full of useful tips and presented in such a relaxed manner with beautiful music under it. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Note to self: love that full wreath at 21: 20. At 33: 47 I was reminded of what a magnificent thing a veranda is! Oh, how I would want one. Where I move, there are no houses with it. Guess it will be an add-on 🙂 Look at 33: 55 how the doors and sun room are of a light grey, to not become dull with everything the same. Any tone would do. Perhaps even a bold black.

  • Tracey, hi from rural Queensland Australia. That little Indian three leg table, sells for around $70 here so I think you have made a bargain. It is funny how our cultures differ. I have had my house spring cleaned because I have asthma, and had to box up all my ‘stuff’. You know the things you love to have around you that make your home look the way you like. Now I think I may as well sell it all because the trend here is minimalism. All I have on the side board in the dining room now is the antique clock. Boring !!!

  • Absolutely gorgeous transformations. I’m from the other side of the pond on the eastern side of the US. I just found your website. I have to say, I think I absolutely love every single one of your transformations and loved all of the tips and techniques as well. I subscribed immediately and will definitely share your article. Just a small tip to help with smaller pieces when you are painting, try using a lazy Susan turntable.

  • Hello I’m new here and I really love your creativity, you are very talented, also your home looks like it’s beautiful the only thing I wish is you could give a second more viewing time when you show the final creation in its display and setup, you go past it so quickly, I just want a better look at the whole display. I love your work and your home look’s amazing. Thank you for sharing.

  • What a wonderful article. You have such an amazing home and a fabulous sense for decorating and multiple DYI especially on the same pieces albeit different season. If you are ever near Toronto Ontario Canada. I have an old piano I’d love you to distress for me. Looking forward to perusal more articles. Thanks for sharing. PS I love your doggie. Reminds me of my Sophie. Currently I’m cuddling with her chocolate version RIPLEY Labs are the best.

  • I didn’t know brass could be aged like that. I don’t like the shiny brass either. I’m going to do that to ones I have and makes me wonder on the ones I’ve passed up in thrift stores😮. I’m also going to make the giant yarn pom pom seed pods. I have a really tall vase that these would be perfect for. I would LOVE to see a article, even if it’s just showing photos of the styling transformations you’ve done over the years in your beautiful home 😍 I think it’s interesting to see how tastes change and transforms. Even some where you look back and go “what was I thinking!?”😂

  • Hi Tracey. I particularly liked the lamp makeovers. Ive got my eyes peeled at the charity shops for a lamp I can try out your technique on 😊. How would you remove white wax from wooden furniture when you want to paint it please? I want to change up some pine bedside tables I white waxed and I think sanding would get messy? Any advice appreciated! Looking forward to your next articles. Thanks, Nina Xx

  • First of All I just found your website and LOVE it… The Pup laying so relaxed by you while you work was, ADORABLE. YOUR VISION with Your Items is AMAZING. My Favorite is the lamp with the naked lamp shade and the long mirror with no base that you hung by the lamp is All Perfect Together. GREAT article.

  • I look forward to every Sunday with such excitement to see what you are going to post! Today was great, AGAIN. I’m sorry, I can’t pick my favorite, but those chairs…girl…fabulous!!! On the stone pot, does that technique make them heavy? I’m am anxious to try this technique because you are so correct, they are so expensive. I wish you lived closer 🙂

  • This episode was exactly what I needed! I’m redecorating in a boho, farmhouse. I have a modern gold console that I thought would be great twined using alternative fabric ropes in between, any colored twine. Waiting for an episode that has something similar. I just subscribed so if you already did one let me know which episode. Love love love your style!

  • I don’t know how I’m just finding you but you are so skilled at what you do! You score some amazing pieces… I could never get that lucky where I am. I am in awe of your home and your talent. So far my favorite was the gorgeous (previously orange) candle pillar you placed on the floor… But honestly I’m not even done perusal the entire article. I absolutely love everything you’ve done. 🥰😍

  • Although you weren’t lost, i just found you and im so glad i did! We have strongly similar tastes on crafting and doing it on our OWN, thank you very much! I had never seen your aging technique with dirt and herbs and pepper flakes, but by golly, i have a lamp i hate that im going to ty it on. And the gold inside the black shade was perfect! Your home, and parts of your country are absolutely beautiful. Im one of those odd characters that actually prefer rain and storms…especially thunderstorms, but im from Florida, where we sort of have really big thunderstorms generally twice a year. We call them hurricanes. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your talents! I really look forward to your next projects!😊😊😊

  • Hmmm, is there a favorite? I guess the picture frame for daughter. Loved the mirrors a lot, and the veranda two piece, effortlessly amazing with a touch of elegance as always. My take away, I loved the music you wrote again, your sheets are easily read, and can be played in every season. 😊 Good job Tracy!!!

  • I guess I am binge-watching all of your lovely shows I have never seen anybody with such a wealth of knowledge on refinishing I have learned a ton thank you I must say that everything you do comes absolutely fabulously I truly love your natural vibe so many ideas you are energy is infectious but I wonder when I’ll get up and actually do something myself LOL maybe you should take us on a thrifting trip with you

  • ‘Later’ is not a word in ky playbook either, however I have learned a hard lesson. After digging up an old dead tree and while setting up my canopy frame by myself (live alone) I pulled my pectoral muscle. Oh my gosh…talk about extreme pain even hurts to breathe in and out. Please be careful I’m five days into recovery and still in a lot of pain.

  • Thanx for sharing your inspirational up-cycling tips with us.. I’m actually into the art of this myself, as is my mother & daughter.. it’s always amazing how we can transform, what other folks throw away as “junk” into beautiful & unique pieces. (& all we need is the knack, know how-which ends in experience & obv the odds & ends of stuff like left over paints & other stuff you’ve shown in this article, for using texture etc..) 🤍🤍 Very impressed & hoping you have more vids for me to be inspired by?! Blessings & gratitude & muchly…🤍

  • I love your work, your a very talented lady.. i have always been in to interior design, i love changing things, but age hasn’t been good to my hands, perusal you made me realise that now i dont need to be so carfull. More rubing which is truly delightful and beautiful. Your pom poms blow me away. Love and light x💛☘️💚😘🙏❤️

  • Dear Tracy, I saw many of your diys, but I enjoyed them all over again! Again, I’m reminded that I need more mirrors! I had latched onto the idea of the old box with chicken wire to put live branches into plastic buckets with water. I used it at Christmas time, but what’s wrong with using it in the spring? The faux leather chairs update I had not seen, wow! Thank you, Tracy, and take care!

  • Love love LOVE your website. Your accent is lovely, I’m from Texas and definitely have a twang, but your use such unique techniques such as the grout with dirt and spices and herbs, and I love the wrap on the cord for that lamp. The rocking chair is stunning! I love the redo of the 4 red pleather chairs. I would never thing of mixing techniques on leather or pleather chairs, but they look amazing!

  • You are brilliant, what a wonderful idea to put all your DIY’s in one episode! Makes it so easy for us to find what we are looking for. Time to get to work on all the projects I’ve been anxious to start. I just need to borrow Bertie for the day!😂 can’t pick a favorite but I remember seeing the headboard in an earlier article and thinking it was absolutely beautiful! You find the most unique pieces!

  • WOW! This is the FIRST time I’ve been in absolute LOVE with 100% of ALL of your items, I love your entire house, how lucky you are to have the talents to make yourself such a beautiful home!! I still like your projects you re-did from both your 1st copper project to changing it to a cement & herb project. Finally, I loathe cords and have never seen such a great idea to cover them up! I’ve seen people completely cut them off and put inside a battery touch light but you know those do not give off enough light for reading or crafting, simply renders it ornamental only-so love your cord idea that way you can use a bright light to work or read or dim light for ambiance or down time
