Great tree!😍 I miss going to market. We used to be in fashion retail in Fort Worth, Texas. Dallas market was a blast. My friend worked at the Christmas wholesaler and I used to help her decorate “themed” trees for the big retail stores in the mall. Wrapping the lights was the not so fun part of decorating trees. Lol.

Ramon, as much as I love you & your decorating but…I have to say even though this tree is beautiful, but “LESS IS MORE”❤❤❤ You should have made 2 trees as it’s hard to see the glass bulbs & can’t see any of the tree. Some declarations are hidden by other decorations. However, this tree is gorgeous! I love your website! I wasn’t able to watch your website last yr but looking forward this yr!❤❤❤
Thanks, Chris, this tree harkens back to my childhood and live trees, only we had tinsel, and angel hair. It was placed in the living room, and there was nothing prettier than the tree lit with the big, colorful lights, the sparkling glass ornaments, and a crackling, wood fire in the fireplace. Our trees were alive until Mommy decided that she had to have that futuristic silver tree with the color wheel. My Daddy, however, said it wasn’t Christmas without a real tree, so for years we also had a tree in the basement. Thanks for stirring the memories!
I’m brand new to your website and have to say how gifted your sense of Christmas decor is. It brings back so many happy memories of my great aunt and grandma’s way of decorating that seems to have been lost with our generation. I’ve searched youtube endlessly for something that inspires such happy memories and you are the only one I’ve found who is spot on. Thank you for posting your inspiration home decor.. Many blessings to you and your loved one’s this Christmas.
As always, your tree is beautifully decorated…I love your trees!!! So many lovely ornaments. Wishing you and Tim and marshmallow a beautiful, and wondrous Christmas, full of love and magic!!! Thank you for all of the years of sharing your holiday decorations with us!!! So much enjoyment and inspiration comes from all of your very special article’s. Big hugs!!! 🍃🤗🍃
Thank you for writing me back. I love your tree and that many things you use have a story. I did my first ribbon tree in years using red and white harlequin and solid red. It came out so bright and the gkids will love, but to me it looks like a mall tree. I almost started over, but next year will be here before we know it. Thank you for sharing💗
Hi Christopher, Love this traditional look!!! If you can mention what size tree it is and where did you get tree, it has a nice realistic look and isn’t super wide, if you want to fill a smaller corner in a diff room this is ideal? Is it a Balsam Hill tree? Where did you find that red velvet star? Its lovely! I have many questions, I know… LOL I love love love the old wooden ornaments you added to make the tree fun and not all “froofy”, (glass) I grew up with some of those cute simpler ornaments on our tree and the indented glass as well back in the mid 70s. they all have been lost or broken as years passed us by sadly. My mom only had maybe 2 boxes total from when she first married in early 60s. The soldier on horse ornament, mouse and santa’s sleigh with reindeer are precious!!!! Just love this combination, thank you for sharing your ideas! I enjoy your articles! 🙂 Have a wonderful Christmas season!
Another lovely tree. I remember so many of these ornaments and silver tinsel was a staple for our tree. I still love decorating for Christmas but find that I am practically the only one in my family who does. My brother and his family come to my house for Christmas but always comment that I shouldn’t waste my time decorating as they don’t care! Anyway, I will always decorate for Christmas, even if it is just for me. Thank you for your inspiration. Deborah
