Your creativity and work is amazing…You are unbelievably talented, and I’m fortunate to be able to learn from you…Thank you♥️ PS It is helpful to use found objects like you used, and not have to buy from a craft store…Crafting can be very costly these days, and making beautiful and useful items out of such simple things as twigs is awesome…Thanks again♥️
The sticks on the jug would be great on a flowerpot!! Many years ago I made 3 different sized stars from sticks with hot glue and sisal string at the joints then attached them together with fishing line at different heights. I sprayed one white, one blue, and one red. I still have it! Are there any places in your area to find good used furniture?
You seem to have so many ideas to make things from nothing. So here’s a challenge for you… I have all of these Folgers coffee containers. They are plastic and with a plastic lid. A number of years ago I saw an elderly gentleman hanging these in his trees I assumed as bird houses. So my challenge to you is charming bird houses from Folgers coffee containers. It seems like a good idea because you can always pop the lid off and clean them out easily but while I’ve managed to put a chain for hanging on a couple I can’t quite think how to make them look interesting to a bird.
Thank you so much for not being a sell out to companies by being a hawker of their store, their product, or even your own store. We know those are possibilities as we have the option to buy your delightful creations from your store, you list the products used including the brand names and you mention the stores where you purchase things, but, the emphasis is on the ideas not on “how can I sell this product or store.” You have truly made decor accessible for everyone! What a blessing you are!
I thought the branch with the wire flower was the best of all. The seashells were awesome and who doesn’t have them lying around? But hey what a boon i dont think any of these cost much at all. They were all very rustic and nice . I love using things from my backyard because every time i go back there to look its a different treasure chest. Happy Fourth of July Sherry.
the sea shells are beautiful! what a creative idea! i so appreciate your attention to detail! @ 5:40, i really like what you did with the frame and the dried flower from your garden. suggestion: rather than the white card stock behind the flower, you might consider this: when i have gathered antique images (ie, simple line drawings of pine cones, acorns, world globes, books and candlesticks) ) from the internet for use in junk journals, i’ve printed the images on buff colored paper or buff colored card stock, depending on my eventual use for the image. i have found some tan colored card stock also, which can help an image look old.
I’m scratching my head because I don’t know which project to start making first. I know that you are one of the most creative people I’ve ever seen. This is a way for anyone who wants to craft that doesn’t have money to buy supplies. The egg cartons turned into mushroom caps were probably the most innovative project. You are amazing and I love all these projects. I am certainly going to have to review it a few more times. Thank you so very much.
Sherry… thank you, thank you, thank you! You have no idea how much joy you bring to my life. I have severe back problems and a lot of my Saturdays start off with pain and no motivation to get moving. I know that I can count on you to always inspire me and I get excited to break out the glue gun and get crafty! I adore all of the things you make and admire your imagination to transform things into pieces of art. You are truly talented and gifted! So again, thank you for sharing with us, your biggest fans 😊❤
What a great article.. I love your articles like this. I bought some of the small clothepins and have not used many of them. I thought they were cute but the only thing i used them for was small carrots. I can’t wait to try my hand a a butterfly. Thanks for the inspiration. ❤ I had no idea that thin card board was considered chip board. I learn something new every time I watch you create.
