Which Cruise Ships Include Virtual Windows Inside?

Virtual Balconies are an 80-inch high-definition screen inside interior staterooms on Royal Caribbean cruise ships, allowing guests to enjoy real-time views and sounds of the ocean and destinations in interior cabins. On Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Quantum of the Seas, all interior rooms now have a “Virtual Balcony”, transforming them into spacious, scenic retreats.

Virtual balconies are introduced to bring ocean views to windowless inside cabins by replacing a window in the cabin with a live feed of the ocean. These screens provide live HD views from outside the cruise ship, right into the cabin. Quantum, Anthem, and Ovation of the Seas have virtual balconies in every interior cabin, while Navigator, Voyager, and Explorer of the Seas have 81 virtual balconies.

Virtual balconies are only available in select interior staterooms on Anthem of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, Odyssey of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, Spectrum of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas, Utopia of the SeasSM, Voyager of the Seas, and Wonder of the Seas.

While not all interior cabins come with Virtual Balcony windows, they can be found on several Royal Caribbean’s bigger ships, including Disney’s Magical Portholes. The innovative concept of virtual balconies allows passengers to experience the ocean and its destinations in a more immersive way.

  • You should do a article on eight reasons to never go on a cruise ship …. numder one .. cruise ships are just nasty floating hotels you can’t leave once its at sea .. number two, youve never in your life been around or that close to that many people let alone wanted to be around that many people, unless you were at the super bowl .. number three most of the rooms are beyond nasty and small.. .. number four it will absolutely not be what you expected… numder five you’d be better off just booking a room on a tropical island some where and for your sea experience go snorkeling or diving or maybe a day barefoot sailing .. and then maybe a nice day laying on The beach .. yes my advice would be to never go on a cruise ship ..
