Melania Trump, former first lady, recently unveiled her changes to the White House Rose Garden, which had faded to almost pink after years of sun on its red Scalamandré silk walls and red and gold upholstered furniture. The nonprofit White House Historical Association paid the cost. Melania’s holiday decor reportedly included 71 wreaths, 53 Christmas trees, 18,000 lights, and some 12,000 ornaments. During her husband’s four years in office, Melania Trump and her interior designer, Tham Kannalikham, declined interview and photography requests about the changes.
The necessity of the overhaul was agreed upon by multiple parties. She announced this year’s White House holiday theme, “America the Beautiful”, and unveiled the decorations that adorn the halls and rooms of the White House. The White House has managed to reacquire 10 pieces from the original suite, made in Paris by Pierre-Antoine Bellangé, while the rest is “lost to history”.
Melania Trump worked on a variety of restoration projects during her time as first lady, including the Tennis Pavilion and the Rose Garden. Under her direction, the Red, White House Historical Association spent $1.75 million on furniture for the White House and the 11 offices therein. Melania Trump will have a few new touches to showcase Friday’s state dinner.
In summary, Melania Trump has been busy taking care of the White House, revealing her changes to the iconic space, which has faced backlash and questions about whether she ruined the iconic spot.

He later starred in the reality TV show The Apprentice and owned several beauty pageants between 1996 and 2015.
He has marketed his name to many building projects and commercial products. Who was the youngest First Lady to occupy the White House?
Frances Cleveland, the youngest First Lady and the only one to get married in the White House, was a young and beautiful woman who did much to bolster the President’s image. She shared her husband’s views on the proper role for women, believing that a woman’s rightful place was as “the moral compass of the home”. Frances confined herself to the traditional role of hostess and protested when her image was used to sell a wide array of products and the idea that during her husband’s second campaign, she could be used as a symbol for democratic women’s clubs. Both Clevelands were vehemently opposed to that idea.
When Frances Cleveland left the White House for the second time, it was an easy transfer back into a private home life since that was where she had always been most comfortable. When Rosalynn Carter entered the White House, she and her husband had been married for thirty years and had not only a personal partnership but a political one as well. Where Grover Cleveland saw Frances’ natural role in their home, Jimmy wanted Rosalynn by his side in all matters. From the earliest days of his political career, she was a sounding board for her husband, helping him make important political decisions.
Rosalynn was not at first a natural politician’s wife, as she was painfully shy and did not speak at all during his first unsuccessful campaign for governor. However, as his political star rose, she learned to conquer her fears and became a successful campaigner. Once she arrived in the White House, it was immediately obvious she would be a different kind of First Lady. She was the first to have her own office and staff in the East Wing of the White House.
She sat in during cabinet meetings, taking notes but never joining in the conversation. This process gave her the assurance that she understood the general thrust of what the administration was trying to accomplish and to field questions about it with accuracy and authority as she traveled around the county.
Mamie Doud Eisenhower had much in common with the women who occupied the White House when she was born and when she died. Mamie and Frances had a shared background as women who were raised with the expectation that they would run a household for their future husbands. All of these three women had very different experiences and expectations for them as First Ladies. Mamie was more politically minded than Frances and was more than willing to step out on the campaign trail with her husband and let her image be used freely during the campaign.
In conclusion, Frances Cleveland, Rosalynn Carter, and Mamie Doud Eisenhower were all influential figures in the history of the White House. They each had unique experiences and expectations as First Ladies, but their contributions to the White House and the world of politics continue to inspire and impact the lives of those who served in the White House.

The length of a full four-year presidential term is typically 1, 461 days, with Grover Cleveland having two more days due to serving two non-consecutive terms. Franklin D. Roosevelt, the only American president to have served more than two terms, spent the longest time in office. 📹 Donald & Melania Trump Decorate White House For Christmas & Internet REACTS
The holidays are apparently in full effect at the White House but President Trump and first lady Melania Trump are under fire …
So snow and ice aren’t winter Christmas theme? ….. This is what is wrong with world. People just want a reason to hate on each other…over Christmas choices. Oh sorry I just wanted to do. Thanksgiving with a beach vibe. Oh let’s do Christmas with snow and ice. Make it glittery and frosty. She has good taste but everyone just see hate of a nice lady. Yup.
I think it looks so beautiful and magical. Like it snowed inside and fairies are everywhere. Melania is stunningly gorgeous and amazing. I love the all of it. And I am into the Thanksgiving centerpiece. It’s new and such a twist. Love it! I don’t like that people are negative al the time towards the Trump family. So you arent the biggest fan of the president? Ok, so that means that all his family is awful. Tis’ the season to spread love so stop with the hate and just be happy.
The TRUMP’S give back the right to say “Merry Christmas”🤔 without defending our beliefs. God didn’t make just one COLOR. WHY maybe it was because of the region’s, maybe it’s cuz God likes VARIETY. And there is nothing ugly in COLORS. All Gods people are BEAUTIFUL! we are CREATED in his IMAGE & that’s all!!!!! WE should be SEEING The image of God.💞 This hate saddens MY ♥️. Because this is one time of year than all hostility & all hate and all indifferences should be dropped & with ♥️for thee fellow man, we should love each other. as Brothers and Sisters OF mankind, the human race. “White Christmas” is a 1942 Irving Berlin song reminiscing about an old-fashioned Christmas setting. The version sung by Bing Crosby is the world’s best-selling single with estimated sales in excess of 100 million copies worldwide. A Christmas STORY. Haven’t U heard of song. I’m dreaming of a “WHITE CHRISTMAS” This SONG has been done by Almost Every ARTIST. Nat King Cole & Natalie Cole, The drifters famous Buble, famous song. all most every artist has recorded it & the white represens🌨️ just my thoughts🤗.
I like it. It reminds me of a icy fairyland. I’d love to walk around and just take it all in. Personally, I like a lot of color, but these decorations are lovely. Vogue doesn’t have any taste. I once worked at a museum that put up only silver and gold decorations. They could have been pretty, but the person responsible for the decorations made it look like there was nothing up to celebrate the the season. (Vogue would probably think they were being very chic. Blech…) I heard so many complaints from visitors who were asking when the Christmas decorations were going to be put up, only to be told they were up. The only place that actually was decorated like it was Christmas, was the main cafeteria. The person did a good job of celebrating Christmas by bringing a little “child-like wonder” to the decorations. She got a lot of compliments for her work. So, Vogue and the “hate everything the Trumps do” crowd need to go and GET A LIFE. Sheez…..
The people who are triggered by what the Trumps are doing need to get over it. At this point anything Trump and his family does will be a problem. Do I like the decor no but who cares!! It’s just decorations. I will not let this distract me from the news that NBC fired Matt Lauer for allegedly sexually assaulting a staffer.
