  • is it only me, thinking that interior decoraters might have no job ? i mean designing make it obvious where to place your stuff or how to organise your space, decide the textures i guess all of this comes under designing ( the much i have researched so far) i have seen all the designers making layouts and then deciding the textures (which is said to come under decorating ) and if we choose to be a designer go for a degree won’t we do decorating ? because atleast for me decorating independently doesn’t make any sense but designing + decorating does ! is it like this or am i misunderstanding the concept + one thing that make it simpler for me to understand that designers decide where to place particular object such as sofa and chairs but decoraters works for textures, colors, combinations is it ? this is confusing uhhhhh
