What Is The Inside Package For The Gts?

The 911 Carrera T interior package offers a unique ambience of exclusivity, featuring standard sports seats and numerous Race-Tex and dark options. The GTS interior package is available in Carmine Red or Crayon, with decorative stitching available in either color. The seatbelts, embroidered GTS script on the headrests, and the dials of the rev counter and Sport Chrono clock also come in contrasting colors.

The GTS interior package is $2,790 more than the black leather with brushed aluminum trim, which may not be worth it to some. The optional GTS interior package adds an additional contrasting color, Carmine Red or Crayon, for the rev counter and seat. The standard GTS interior is Race-tex microfibre in black, with the GTS logo on the headrests and additional options.

For those ordering a Macan GTS, the GTS interior package includes an optional silver/red stitching, silver/red rev counter, specific seatbelts, and carbon interior trim items. The GTS interior with full leather (delete-Race Tex) and deviated carmine red stitching costs about ~2k.

The 2022 GTS interior package includes an extended leather package, Deviated stitching Rev counter to suit your stitching color, and carbon fiber trim. The standard interior on a GTS is a mismatch for some, and the carbon fiber trim is a significant chunk of the GTS Interior Pack price.

In summary, the 911 Carrera T interior package offers a unique atmosphere of exclusivity, with options such as full bucket seats, Sports seats, and various interior packages. The optional GTS interior package offers a more exclusive touch and is available for the 718 GTS 4.0 models, saving up to 25% on the overall cost.

How many Carrera GTS exist?

The Porsche Carrera GT is a mid-engine sports car manufactured by Porsche from 2004 to 2006. It was named number one on the Top Sports Cars of the 2000s and number eight on the Top Sports Cars of All Time list by Sports Car International. The development of the Carrera GT can be traced back to the 911 GT1 and LMP1-98 racing cars. Due to FIA and ACO rule changes in 1998, both designs ended. Porsche had planned a new Le Mans prototype for the 1999 season.

The car was initially intended to use a turbocharged flat-six engine, but was later redesigned to use a new V10 engine, which was secretly built for the Footwork Formula One team in 1992 but later shelved. The engine was resurrected for the Le Mans prototype.

  • Spec is great, but interior is borderline boring with this spec, especially its aimed at being a mini-gt3 racecar rather then daily. Could have taken yellow stiching or at least yellow seatbelts to go with PCCB calipers. Everything gray/black is kinda whatver together with agate gray outside ;/ but just personal preference I guess.

  • I find it amusing how the people who sell cars are out of their minds with excitement about high spec cars. So many of these specs are contradictory. For example, weight reduction packages that add weight by including rear steer. As sales people pressure buyers to pile on all this stuff, finding a low spec version may be much rarer and ultimately more exclusive.

  • I don’t understand putting half of these options on a GTS, e.g., the carbon ceramics and the lightweight package. It’s not a GT3 and is never going to be and if I were this owner and wanted what this owner clearly wants (a track-focused 911) I’d be putting my money toward getting a lightly used GT3 or finding an allocation for a new one vs. loading up every option on the list. There’s a fine line between spec’ing well vs. over-spec’ing. Just like you don’t want to have the most expensive house on the block you don’t want to have the most loaded version of a model in the country. If you’re getting into GT3 or Turbo price range with a GTS you’re doing something odd.

  • Lightweight glass but it hasn’t got privacy & the previous owner opted for a leather steering wheel rather than using the Race Tex that comes as part of the GTS Interior Package. Absolutely no point putting this many options on a GTS and it DOES NOT increase the re-sale value of the car. PCCB and lightweight package is a big no-no for a lot of customers

  • Funny thing, the majority of buyers who opt for the ceramics are usually posers that never track the car and the least bit concerned about brake fade, while those who do track the cars opt for the steel brakes due to the lower cost replacement. The truth of the matter is and from personal experience, that even steel brakes on a GT3 rarely ever fade during track day sessions unless you’re going balls to the wall for 30 minutes.

  • So a high spec GTS in that boring ugly color and with dead looking black wheels to boot. A beautiful car that looks like it has a primer coat and is waiting for a finish coat in a color that will show the lines of this 911 and look like a real sports car. My opinion- but why work a lifetime to buy a car in this dead color? At least go black to show some commitment. Painting this car in the color of…… I find so sad.
