Three tablespoons of Unhulled sesame seeds have 22% of daily calcium needs,, whereas Three tablespoons of hulled sesame seeds have only 1% of daily calcium needs. You can puree sesame seeds in water in a blender to make a sesame seed milk (use this as a base for green or fruit smoothies), or you can sprinkle them on salads, cooked vegetables, use them instead of bread crumbs when making a coating to dip slices of vegetables in to pan fry, or mix them into bread or cookie batters and so many more dishes.

I love chickpeas, spinach, kale, broccoli, sweet potatoes, carrots, celery, avocados, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, kiwis, apples, pears, cucumbers, bananas, beetroot, tomatoes, lettuce, arugula, unsalted nuts, greek yogurt, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, flaxseeds, sesame seeds, etc.. I try to consume most of these everyday. I need to eat proper foods to keep bone strength.

Hold up there! I have one problem with all of this ‘sage’ advice. If the doctor had delved at all into horticultural studies, those would have revealed that broccoli and other green, leafy vegetables can only contain large amounts of calcium when grown in calcium-rich earth. If you just buy them off the shelf, the vvegetable is more likely to drain calcium OUT of your bones and into your urine; because the plant itself had a deficiency. Don’t throw the calcum supplements away; grind them up and put them in the soil of your garden, and grow your own green, leafy veg. I’m surprised a doctor missed that.
Although I have tried from the very beginning to look at this presentation positively, the fact only it did not mentioned as the first and foremost best source of calcium the dairy products, has disappointed me greatly and made me angry! If you do not know as nutritionist that the bioavailability of calcium from plant sources (i.e. spinach) is far less than that of dairy products then you have a serious problem. I would have to spend all day just chewing on greens to get enough calcium! I actually only do 2 meals a day with veggies in normal amounts. I’m trying to incorporate small amounts of steamed chicken (uninfected ones) some days. Even this is not enough to keep bone deterioration at bay. However, I do exercise nearly daily, if I wake up early enough to stay away from crowds and warm weather from turning too hot. When I’m in the kitchen, I do side sways and small circular movements and other safe arm swings. Im a senior, 67 yr old, and am on 1 medication (tamoxifen). Weight bearing exercise too.. I take 400 mg calcium not religiously. And other vitamins.

I have to take it because my Mom was given a drug when she was pregnant with me – DES (Diethylstilbestrol) which makes me very prone to having osteoporosis. I have to fight it every single day. I wouldn’t be alive without Osteoprime Ultra. And yes – you also need to eat a good diet. And if you have osteoporosis, you may also have Celiac (I did) which means that if you eat any GLUTEN products, you will damage your intestines, and you won’t get over your osteoporosis!

In this article too, oxalates produced by the plants themselves and antinutrients are not taken into account (with the exception of coffee and tobacco). How do plant kingdom minerals help, if their antinutrients prevent mineral absorption. Our ancestors naturally knew what food keeps us strong and healthy. It still works today.
