  • I moved to Rancho Cucamonga back in 1987, it’s a wonderful city to live in, people are leaving California not Rancho Cucamonga, you can not compare Rancho with Fontana, or Ontario, Rancho can be compare with Upland, I rather pay more and be safer than pay less and be in a bad neighborhood. It is still a nice place to live in with tons of activities, shopping, restaurants, I love Rancho! Great City to live in!

  • Moved to Rancho Cucamonga Dec 2021. I guess we got lucky but my family and I love it here. I disagree with most of your points. Low crime, great schools, clean streets, shopping and grocery stores galore. If you want chains and newer stuff, go to the east side (Etiwanda), want older less suburban cookie cutter go to the west (Alta Loma). We literally have everything here. We have three freeways whithin 10 minutes, big bear & Wrightwood and the mountains are whithin 1 hour away. Which leads to the views, awesome views of the mountains, specially in the winter. Sorry…very little to hate here. Guess thats why it is one of the most expensive areas in the IE. As far as politics, its all relative, in California RC is more purple, which is great! There is lots of diversity here, more than most cities in Southern California.

  • Crime 😌 Rancho is a great city here in California. Crime is everywhere but not in Rancho how this is being portrayed. The air quality does sucks, it’s more desert feel, stay in the city by the oceans. Yesss Traffic is terrible, more people has moved out here and yes traffic terrible, I haven’t heard about the move due to Politics 🤔. I moved out this way for multiple reasons, better schools for my children who are now Grownups 😊 the Classes were not over crowded and the teachers were great teachers. My complaint over the yearsssss is only the Freeways 😮moving from place to place has been TERRIBLE. One of the great thing that I love the most is The Kids all grew up together and most of them, after attending school together are still friends, no gangs, no shooting or killings. Great place to live

  • There are parts of Rancho…up near the mountains….(Alta Loma for example ) that have far safer crime and air quality than the areas you are comparing for PRICE (Ontario..Fontana etc ) Apples to apples. As for walkablity…almost the entire state is NOT walkable….but at least Rancho will get new High speed train….and Metro link to LA soon. (and already in place in nearby Upland ). This area will be a boom with these new high speed rails…and low crime …and well above most of the pollution you see down in lower elevations….

  • I live in Rancho Cucamonga for a very long time, for 2 reasons Rancho Cucamonga is a safe neighborhood, and mostly attend Rancho Cucamonga HS. Rancho Cucamonga is more like home to me since 2009. Great town to be in. As far as living in Rancho Cucamonga. Is Rancho Cucamonga’s housing more expensive than Ontario’s housing?

  • I moved away from Rancho Cucamonga, where I lived for most of my life. It’s a clean and well-kept city, but I had two issues there. First, morning walks meant sweating a lot. Second, it was tough to maintain friendships because everyone was either too busy or not in the mood to meet for drinks. I found a city in another state that looks similar, has similar conveniences, more green spaces, and it’s cheaper.
