How To Take Down The Internal Door Lock Mechanism On A Falcom?

This video demonstrates how to quickly and effectively remove and replace a Fg Falcon interior door handle. 1. Remove the door trim.
2. Disconnect the inner door handle rod at the handle end only by removing the M6 bolt.
3. Pull the outside door lock rod from the plastic lever on the back of the door.
4. Remove power window controls.
5. Remove the door handle surround.
6. Remove the cover cap at the top front of the door (in front of the grab handle).
7. Pull the knob or lever off of the spindle.
8. Unsnap the rose from the mounting plate using a very thin flat screwdriver, nail, or other tool.

In colder climates or specific conditions, the door lock mechanism of your Falcon can freeze or become jammed, preventing the door from opening even when the lock is open. Removing a knobset lock is straightforward and simple as long as you follow the proper steps and use the right tools.
