How To Obtain An Inside Pot With Power Pressure Xl?

The Power Pressure Cooker XL is a multi-use programmable pressure cooker that can cook delicious meals at the push of a button. It features a non-stick inner pot that is easy to clean and dishwasher safe, reducing mess and hassle. The inner pot locks onto the inner pot for pressure cooking, and the pressure is contained within the pot, not the whole cooker. The genuine Zonefly inner cooking pot is stainless steel food grade 304 (18/8), with no chemical coating, and a 3-ply bottom for even heat distribution.

To use the Power Pressure Cooker XL, follow the step-by-step instructions on placing the Inner Pot, adding ingredients, securing the lid, and setting the Pressure Valve. The pot cannot be used in any other makers or models of pressure cookers, as a difference of 3-5mm in height will make a difference. The Instant Pot Pro is the best electric multi-cooker, performing consistently well and offering a variety of functions and cooking modes. • THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR A GREAT “HOW TO” SET UP YOUR POWER PRESSURE COOKER XL!!!! I was REALLY FREAKED OUT about how loose & free that pressure valve knob was spinning. VERY WELL EXPLAINED …quick & to the point. YES, it was NOT CLEAR at all in the start up guide / set up manual. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!

  • OMG! Thank you soooo much for this article! I’ve had this item for years & haven’t been able to use it cuz I lost a gasket! Finally, I found one, but I was concerned about how loose the pressure valve was. I’ve been scouring the internet for days trying to find info on just this particular part! You are a Godsend! Now I can’t wait to start using it! Thank you!

  • Hi! I just found your article. I got a problem with the pressure cooker that last couple of days whenever I am turn on the power it’s doesn’t work . So I thought maybe the fuse is broken but I changed the fuse. Still the power doesn’t on the coolers. So I am confused is the pressure cooker completely broken or I can fixed it anyway. Can you give me any idea that I can try for. Thanks

  • WOW thank goodness for you sharing this wonderful information I was so sadly that I could not understand the manual! Was about to retyitthe I looked up your article! Game changerhe for sure! Have a pot of beans on now plan to practice all day and share with friends and neighbors! Thank you for sharing! I put the captions on to watch repeatedly until I felt comfortable to use my 10 Quart xl on my own! I am now as ease! Looking forward to preparing many wonderful recipes!

  • My Power XL worked fine… until I washed the inner plate and gasket under the lid. When I put it back together, steam was leaking everywhere and there was moisture showing in the LED display. I watched a article which showed the plate and gasket and “Duh!”, the rubber gasket fits around the round aluminum plate and not underneath it. It works fine, now.

  • Thank you! I Just bought the 770 and as has been mentioned, the instructions don’t seem to be very clear. I worked on setting mine up today and was getting concerned that things weren’t working as expected as it took quite a while to pressurize. I got a good deal on it, but wouldn’t be able to return it due to the store where I bought it closing. Looking forward to doing some ribs in it soon! Thanks!

  • Thanks for this. I actually took back the first one I got in the mail due to the sloppy feeling of the pressure valve. The guy at bed, bath, and beyond looked at it and said it was broken too. If you shake the lid it even sounds like some plastic bouncing around inside. Got the new one in the mail today and the valve was the same so I figured I must be doing something wrong. Your article was very helpful.

  • I have this and absolutely love it. However the the valve and little rubber gasket fell out . It’s the one under the handle. I have no idea how to get it back in. Had any one here had this issue and had success putting back in? Please help or other my beloved pressure will find itself on the shelf at the local Goodwill.

  • I appreciate the article. I love my pressure cooker. But that goldfish needs a minimum of 10 gallons of water. They grow from 8-10 in and live as many as 20 years. In a bowl or small container they live a short sad life while their internal organs outgrow their bodies until they die. That is if uncycled water or poor water quality don’t kill them first.

  • My mom has had this pressure cooker but the valve being loose (as intended) is not a normal feeling and a concern. I did a test run with just water and then releasing the valve water came out with the steam not sure of this is normal and I never felt like it sealed correctly. I have the instant Pot and the valve mechanism is way better/safer. Thanks for confirming pressure cooker valve is working as intended though

  • Update on the new models! The older models had a button on top that said “cook time selector” The New models that have the red pressure indicator on top of the lid says instead of “cook time selector” now says “Saute” Which means you cannot use the big round button on front to change the cooking time. If you press it and put the lid on it will beep at you and flash “LID”. You have to select what you want to cook and immediately press the minute button to reach the cooking time. I called customer service and got a person in the US that explained this. She said the “Saute” button on from is for searing the food and not jump to the cooking time. My new pressure cooker doesn’t automatically seal up for pressure cooking so I have to jiggle the lid to make it quit letting steam out the vent hole on the lid handle.

  • Hi, I have had my XL for over a year and it has worked like a charm. I attempted to make bone broth, but the steam never stopped leaking slowly from the release valve. I stopped it, vented it completely, cleaned and replaced the valve, but the same thing happened. How do I know that pressure was maintained, or since it did not stop leaking. It was a constant insipid hiss.

  • Hi Doug! As I mentioned to you before, the more we open doors and extend opportunities to others, the more we attract blessings to ourselves….A year ago, I purchased a ceramic (non-stick) replacement inner pot for my 8 quart pressure cooker. Last week, I purchased a stainless steel replacement inner pot for my 5 quart pressure cooker. Everything works fine.

  • I got a 4 qt stainless steel replacement today, those are impossible to find! HSN had one and reviews said it fits the Cooks Essentials PC I have and they were right. Both even say Maxi Matic on the manual – maybe one company makes most PC’s. The nonstick pot in my 6 qt is fabulous, but the 4 qt was sticking from day one and only gets worse. So glad to see your article and know I made the right choice hunting down a new insert instead of throwing away the whole PC, because I use it at least twice a week.

  • I purchased it through Amazon it’s a lot more expensive than when you originally purchased it, but I need one I can be confident it will pressurize exactly as the old one and I appreciate your review that I bought it anyway because I don’t want to worry about the fit. Thanks for the article and link. Keeping my fingers crossed it works well. It’s too hot to be over the stove. The pressure cooker solves that problem

  • Hi I have the same power cooker plus and the inner pot needs to be replace as well. But don’t feel bad cause I never used an sos pad and mines is starting to look like yours 😂. I love to steam my veggie in it but I notice the replacement can’t be use to steam for what I can see. But I need the inner pot bad so I’ll be ordering one soon. Thanks for sharing your article.

  • It is sooo upsetting that they put the poorest coating on these pressure cookers!!!! It is toxic once its scratched!! It can kill birds in ur house! HSN put their stainless PC inserts on clearance but when it arrived it was half the size for their pressure cooker, grrrr! Thank you for letting us know to look on amazon:) BTW, if you add your noodles after the chicken is cooked it wont be so soggy :). The water is plenty hot, just give it 5 min or so.

  • Hi Doug the replacement of ( Power Pressure Cooker XL replacement 6qt stainless inner pot) from Elite platinum which is not available on Amazon. From the tag you were holding on the article, can you please provide me contact information from that company so I can order directly or any update information how I can find stainless steel pot for Power Pressure Cooker XL replacement 6qt . Thank you very much!

  • My power pressure cooker xl is only 8 months old. I put a one year replacement plan on it. I had to get a new cord because the cord didn’t plug in right and it would shut off while cooking. I was sent a new cord and it has been fine. I use it almost daily a long side my air fryer. Due to the honey comb texture in the pot mine looks terrible. I was going to get a new pot from them free but it will do it again. So I will just buy a stainless steel one.

  • Thanks for sharing and thanks for sharing approx replacement price. My xl 6qt inner pot is starting to stick at the bottom and burn at the bottom. Mine looks just like your old one. I was careful not scrub pot with brillo or steel $1 pads. I have to say I’ve had mine for a few yrs now. I guess it’s time to replace. Thanks for the link and info. Very tricky to use off brand replacements. Ty!

  • And the sad thing here is that you felt the need to have to use some kind of abrasive pad to scrub what is supposed to be a relatively non-stick pot, which is what I’m feeling like doing right now. The first time that I used my PPC XL I followed directions on the web for one pot spaghetti and the directions were off on how much pasta to put in the pot, so it scorched the pot. After that it’s never been the same and basically at least a little of everything that I cook in it sticks to the bottom and now needs a rather abrasive scrubbing pad to try to clean off the cooked on food even though mine does not show any of the silver under the non-stick coating, things basically stick to it now. Last night I cooked chili, and now the pot is soaking because a bunch of the chili is sticking to the bottom of the pot. Currently thinking of just buying an instant pot with the stainless bowl that comes standard or buying just a stainless bowl for the PPC XL. Oh and yeah, they seem to be all gone now, the only new one that I found the crazy seller wants like $225.00 for it.

  • damn still sold out. I just brought one and noticed that the inner pot is already messing up. So sad they didn’t do a newer version with a steel pot with all the complaints I see now. I brought it on black friday so it was a steal at 55 bucks so I really don’t want to return it. They are other places that sell but it so much more expensive. I might try pot in pot until it restocks or something like that.

  • What a nice con for the company to make more money on their power pressure cooker. I used mine with care……only used all plastic utensils and followed all requirements for this machine. Didn’t make any difference, it’s several months old and everything sticks to bottom of inner pot. This is my second one and the same thing happened to the inner pot….this one was a replacement. What a racket……everyone is having the same problem!! Sounds like a defective product and the company should be replacing these inner pots…not us!! Next time I purchase I will go with another brand with a silver inner pot.
