How To Make An Inside Google Street View?

To create a Street View inside your business, book a Google Trusted Photographer to shoot your business and inform your employees about the photo shoot. Once the photo shoot is complete, the photographer will upload the images to Google Maps. Indoor Maps allows you to view the interior of places like stores, airports, or hotels, as well as photos of places uploaded by others.

To build your own Street View experiences, use the 360 Google video feature within Google Street View, which allows you to create a virtual tour of your business linked to Google My Business. You can create your own Street View collections when taking your camera on a drive, ride, or walk, and your recorded video is converted into Street View when published.

Using custom panoramas, you can display the interior of buildings, views from scenic locations, or anything from your imagination. You can even link these custom panoramas to Google’s existing Street View experience.

Creating and publishing your Street View images on Google Maps is easy. Select your camera, create your images, and upload them to Street View Studio. For example, to create a local museum indoor mapping with 360 camera photos and use paths, use a camera or camera/software combination capable of generating a photo sphere.

Using third-party software, connect to Google Maps, joining individual images to create a continuous navigable Street View virtual tour. This set of tools and services enables anyone to create and publish their own 360-degree imagery on Google Maps.

What software does Google Street View use?

Street View is a component of Google Maps and Google Earth, available as a web application, mobile application for Android and iOS, and as a component of Google Maps and Google Earth. Originally using Adobe Flash, Google Maps was overhauled in 2013 with a JavaScript-based interface. The new version was slower in various setups, but users can switch to the old version. The Pegman icon, resembling a clothespeg, is the primary user interface element connecting Maps to Street View.

When not in use, Pegman sits atop or beside the Google Maps zoom controls. Pegman can dress up for special events or be joined by peg friends in Google Maps. When dragged into Street View near Area 51, he becomes a flying saucer, and when dragged near the Florida Keys or Hawaii, he becomes a mermaid. When viewing older views, Pegman in the minimap changes to Doc Brown from Back to the Future. At Loch Ness, Pegman turns into Nessie wearing a tartan hat, covering the lake, nearby roads, and rural areas.

  • So ive added the 6 photos, added my nadir, and i connected and uploaded it. Why doesnt it allow me to use arrows to navigate through the tours. it just uploads them as 360 photos and the Nadar is missing. Does that take 48 hours too? im really confused on how others are able to see the navigational arrows and im not. please help or ill just cancel membership thank you

  • This is sad, because maybe now I can no longer contribute my 360 photos to Google. Because so far, I only use the “Photo Sphere” feature because I don’t have a 360° camera. I hope Google will continue to maintain the Photo Sphere feature so that Google users who don’t have a 360° camera can continue to contribute their 360° photos to Google Maps.

  • No longer supporting photo spheres is a major issue. Spot-point photo spheres are very useful for remote locations like lookouts, hiking trail junctions, points of interest etc. Maps does not have proper functionality for adding these and locating them precisely so Street View was the only way of adding them properly. My photos collectively have over 16.5mil views to date but I guess this ends here.

  • Shutting down GSV doesn’t really makes sense, Alright we can upload blue lines with GSV studio now but what about Virtual tours? GSV had really lovely option for move and connect multiple 360 images to create VR Tour but now after shutting GSV down without providing any alternative seems like a dumb move by Google

  • Is anyone having issues with GoPro 360 MAX? Nothing I do works, as of Dec 15 2022– the gopro player app wont export GPMF data which causes an error on the import. Even with other tools the GPX file overlays have time range overlap issues. Maybe its the camera and software- so If anyone is using another camera that is easily able to capture 360 article and easily upload without any issues, please share, or if you figured out how to get over this issue please share, thank you!
