  • Hello. Oreilly auto parts counter person here. One of the number one complaints and cause of returns of led bulbs is that many customers are not aware of the nature of led bulbs and how they require a certain orientation to work because of their positive and negative ends. It actually pleases me that you bring this up. Thank you so much. Hopefully more people realize that the bulbs are not defective and they just need to install them in a different orientation.

  • I recommend before buying a bulb if you have a Honda take that cover off and see what the bulb looks like while the light housing is the same shape on several Honda’s some of them have different bulb styles such as a long tubular one or short tubular one. In the bulb number might actually be written on the plastic housing somewhere. Yo can always take the old bulb with you tothe store.

  • thanks for the demo article. it helps me to see that the lighting situation between my 2 hondas (2014 civic & 2014 cr-v) are the same. in light of that, i have found out that my 2014 civic takes a T10/194/168 style bulb which also agrees with the info in your description for this 2014 cr-v article. in the description you mention that the bulb you used is a 194 bulb (which would imply that both my 2014 civic & 2014 cr-v could use the same bulbs). however, when i used your amazon link to get info on the bulb you used, amazon’s site lists this bulb as a “912 Mini Wedge / T5”. is your amazon link a bad link or did you really use a 912/T5 bulb and not a 194/T10 bulb?
