How To Alter The Outside Of A House In Stardew Valley?

Stardew Valley is an open-ended country-life RPG where players can customize their farmhouse and other buildings to match their initial layout. The farm layout determines the furniture and the initial appearance of the house, but the footprint remains unchanged. Mods can be used to change the exterior appearance of the farm house and other buildings to match.

There are three basic upgrades for the farm in Stardew Valley, each more expensive than the last. Players can also create a small camp on their plot, similar to Linus’s, and build their house as they please. The first step is to replace the classic house and some farm buildings with a config file for more options.

With the latest 1.6 update, players can move and paint their farmhouse and change its color for a better look. To upgrade Robin’s house, players can visit her Carpenter Shop on the Mountain north of town. There are three total upgrades that Robin can make.

For a fee, players can change the exterior of the farm house to resemble stone, log, and plank cabins. The outer footprint of the farmhouse is a 9×5 rectangle, and the fireplace can be moved by left-clicking or turned on by right-clicking. Customize Exterior allows players to customize the exterior of their buildings individually, giving them different textures for each instance of a building.

Currently, there is no in-game way to change the outside of a house, so players must head to the Carpenter’s Shop at Robin and Demetrius’ house in the Mountain area north of Pelican Town.

  • DF… are you a mind reader? lol – i just looked up info on upgrading my farm house last nite. Within the past month, each time I perform a search on something SV related, within the next day or so, you have an instructional upload on the exact same thing….this is so uncanny and you are definitely dangerously funny! Keep up the good work! You are awesome (and you know this)!

  • The kitchen has a practical use for stuff like maki rolls for the community center, lucky lunches for the skull caverns, and dishes of the sea for fishing. When married, your spouse/roommate will give you free food and Krobus can also give rainbow shells. Alongside that, having a spouse/roommate can get you a Stardrop, and you will get a better grandpa rating. Also spouses will water and feed your plants and animals, they will also repair fences. In summary, “the cellar is the only practical upgrade” is not true.

  • im pretty sure that at level 10 foraging u can get those options like oh ur level 10! do u want blank or blank and one of the options is lumberjack i think and every tree has a chance f dropping hard wood so then every day you can usually get 16 pieces of wood from the secret woods and ur farm together! if this comment helped you please like it i do hope you guys pick the lumberjack skill!

  • Are there any articles or something about the multiplayer update? Haven’t seen much about it lately and I’m wondering whether it’s even coming out at this point. Don’t get me wrong, I want it to, but I don’t know whether the developers still want to bring multiplayer to this now somewhat older game. I wonder whether that would lead to more sales for them.
