How Can One Obtain Construction Materials In Neverwinter?

In Neverwinter, crafting is a laborious grind that requires a certain level of skill. Building materials can be obtained by speaking with the Builder in the Guild Stronghold, available for guild members with characters between level 20 and level 69. These materials are required to build a Stronghold Lumber Yard.

Professions include Alchemy, Armorsmithing, and Alchemy, which can craft healing potions and supplements for crafting. Glyphs of Potency are a key resource used in refining Enchantments, Artifacts, and Mount Collars. Glyphs can be obtained from Sybella Artis for Heroes Medallions.

To begin crafting, gather a basic material, upgrade it to a better version, and then create items. Building materials are produced in special buildings in the Stronghold, such as a lumberyard producing wood and a farm producing food. Crafting is unlocked at level 10, and players can level up any profession.

Building materials can be obtained by completing heroic encounters, which may require a combination of controller menu access. A second Lumberyard may be built at the “Maiden Lane’s Hollow” plot. The guild’s central repository for all materials needed to build and upgrade structures is the coffers.

There are three main categories of resources: AD, better gear, and building materials. By playing the stuff in order as shown on the Adventures tab (J), players can earn AD and better gear just by completing the quests.

Strongholds are underground structures found in the Overworld, generating at any Y level and preferring biomes above sea level. They can be found using an eye of ender and can be overwritten by caves, ocean monuments, abandoned mineshafts, fossils, amethyst geodes, and monster rooms. However, the end portal is rare to be replaced, as it can only be activated with all 12 end portal frames present. • From my playing and finally realizing, Strongholds actually take a ridiculous amount of resources. Especially when it comes to Astral Diamond resources. Simply going from Level 2 to Level 3 requires 2800 Astral Diamond points. (Not Astral Diamonds). You literally have to donate in multiples of 1000 which 1000 AD = 1 AD point. Do the math. So basically going from Level 2 to Level 3 will require 2.8 million AD. Can’t imagine what this cost will be at higher levels.

  • so I’ve seen lots of guilds over lvl 3 that haven’t built any pvp structures, the tooltip for upgrading to lvl 3 says tho that it requires at least 4 OTHER buildings at lvl 1. Because there are only 3 buildable non-pvp structures at lvl 2 (farm lumberyard and marketplace) i wonder if there is a placeholder building or if the stronghold itself also counts into the max score or if a trick was used to get through this threshhold. Can you help me out with this?

  • Just a few word to say. I’m new to the neverwinter but heard that the stronghold is kind of awesome so I gathered a few friends and we started a new guild. They said in the trailer that you get quite the piece of land so I thought it’s going to be quite decent but when we first went there I was like OMG this place is huge. And all the stuff you can do we were so confused. Thank for this guide it’s awesome and explains everything you need to know to start. Thanks
