I’m finally sharing my homemade hair growth leave-in conditioner recipe ! You can subscribe to my channel here …
I made this and love it together with your shampoo recipe. I only put a very small amount two dime size amount and I rub it on the ends and comb it through my entire length of hair. I have very thick and long hair but only a small amount is needed. It makes my hair nice and shiny. I recommend starting with a small amount and adding more as needed.
I’ve tried it twice and my hair is clean and feels soft, but still looks super oily. I find I have to shampoo after I use it otherwise the oil won’t come out. Am I doing something wrong? Last night I tried it as a treatment and put it in dry hair and left it for a bit before getting in the shower. The first time I tried it I tried only using a little bit but it didn’t feel like it actually coated my hair. How do you use it? I’m not ready to give up yet!
This made my hair very very oily and it was impossible to rinse out. Im going to let it dry and and sleep on it but if it doesnt look any better tomorrow im going to have to try washing it out again and finding an alternative conditioner. Im dissapointed as I ordered in the products especially and dont think I can use this 🙁
I made this and it’s leaving oil stains on my pillow even if my hair is dry. I find it doesn’t detangle, leaves my hair dry the first day and then somehow causes it to become oily and heavy prematurely on the second day. I’m hoping it will get better as my hair adjusts to natural conditioner. Does this leave oil stains on anyone else’s pillow and if so, is there a way to adjust the recipe to stop that?
I made this conditioner and so far I’ve used it once but found it to be really heavy and oily and hard to rinse out. It also left my hair pretty tangled. I ended up rewashing afterwards and then applying your coconut leave in conditioner recipe which worked well. Do you happen to know if I could just add either apple cider vinegar to this recipe or coconut milk to try to balance out the heaviness and make it easier to rinse out? More aloe too maybe? I’ve wanted to experiment with tweaking it but am nervous about messing it up. Your homemade shampoo recipe worked great!
I used this right after I used the shampoo from the previous article. I have thick curly hair, and a generous amount did nothing at all to detangle it. I put it in a small mason jar just like you said and had to use almost all of it to get my hair to untangle. Then my hair, myself and my tub all felt coated in lard. I had to rewash my hair and scour the tub with Ajax. I’ll try it again using half the coco butter and coconut oil suggested. Also you said to use 15 to 30 drops of essential oils. Yet you put only 10 in. Which is it?
This is a perfect example of someone who does not know what she is talking about. First of all after washing your hair you need a conditioner whatever your hair type is. A shampoo open your hair cuticles and you need to close them after wassing, you can do that with a conditioner. What she’s making is not a conditioner after shampooing. If you wanne do iT natural you can use apple vinegar.
What is the pH level of this conditioner? The diy shampoos with Castile soap normally has a pH level around 9 or so, and your scalp needs it to be around 4-5 that’s why they normally say to rinse with apple cider vinegar otherwise it can actually damage your hair. I think rinsing with vinegar sounds disgusting lol so a conditioner with a 4-5 ph level would be ideal.

I’ve been applying this hair growth serum of reactivate littleexttrra for a really long time now and happy with the outcomes I’ve got with it… it’s my third serum bottle now. This one has to be applied to the scalp so it works like magic to a dry scalp. I put on it normally before bed time and just rub it well into my hair….and wash it the next morning. I have seen hair growth and enhancement in my hairline.
It’s so weird because a few weeks ago I went grocery shopping and there was cheesecloth on sale for like a dollar and a few cents… I’ve never bought or needed cheesecloth before. Something in my gut told me to buy it. I buy it then for the past week I’ve been doing research on homemade leave in conditioner and BOOM!!!! About all of the recipes require cheesecloth. I think that’s God telling me this is my next step in my hair growth phase.
Yes!!! Okra is amazing. Aloe vera and fenugreek is amazing as well. Fenugreek takes your hair to the next level. Will definitely try it. You are so right. Your hair is beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for sharing. Love this article. My mom use to make it to eat. We are from the Trinidad. I make diy mask all the time. I also make my own oil. And have seen a lot of growth. Sending you, Univ Hair Soleil and everyone here love and light.❤️❤️🙏🙏☮️☮️
i FOLLOWED YOUR RECIPE and as I was cooling the mixture, the water was no longer cold but warm from my bowl so I took the bowl out for about 5-8 seconds: just to pour off the warm water and to fill the pot with cold water again. I watched as the mixture began to become as chopped up califlower in oil! It was nice and thick and just the consistency I wanted. I began to use the hand mixer again to blend it together and it only made smaller pieces of califlower! Can I still use this mixture even though it is not smooth and the appearance is pretty? The oil that ran from the mixture, I placed in a separate bowl by straining it with a sifter and I now have a hair grease! ha But I can still use the doughlike mixture right? When I put some on my finger, it melts right away and feels so nourishing.
Would you please make a list of all the ingredients that you used? I’ve never heard of most of these and need to know how they’re spelled to find them. I just found your articles and think they’re wonderful! I’ve lost so much hair in parts of my scalp because of various illnesses and I’m so sick of all the chemicals they put in hair products. Thank you so much!❤
I used just okra gel for a hair leave-in conditioner and it made my hair like silk. Your amazing receipe will take it to the next level!! Although, It looks like a lot of work and time to create this receipe. I’ll have to order the BTMS 25, the preservatives benzoyl alcohol with dyhydrol acidic acid, and mango butter. I’m assuming they can be ordered on amazon, otherwise I have no idea where to get them. Thank you, I’m subscribing to this website.and your French website!
Hi, great article. I have learned a lot. I am curious though on why you use 15 drops of preservatives? Is this 1% use of preservatives? I know countries have rules concerning preservatives and I am trying to understand how to calculate how much to put in there. For example in canada, we are suppose to use 1% preservatives in leave in conditioners. Do you know how do we calculate that 1%?
Hi, I couldn’t understand some of the names of the oils you used in this conditioner. Nor are the listed. Could you please list all of the oils used and where you purchased them if you didn’t make it. I found your article on you tube a few days ago while I was searching for something else. So, I liked your articles an subscribed, also I sent you article to my friend. Thank you and keep up the great work 👍🏿
