Does The Oyster White Exterior Of Sherwin Williams Available In A Stain?

SW Oyster White is a cool-leaning light greige paint color by Sherwin-Williams, known for its subtle green undertones. This cream color is often mistaken for off-white but is actually a warm, muted very light greige paint color. It is perfect for farmhouses and traditional homes in shady or sunny locations. Sherwin-Williams offers a wide variety of exterior stains to enhance and protect wood siding, trim, deck, porch, or fence.

Oyster White is available in various finishes, from flat to satin to high-gloss, allowing homeowners to achieve the exact look they want for their home’s exterior. The paint is known for its durability, making it suitable for both south-facing rooms with lots of natural light and north-facing rooms without much light.

The color has an LRV of 72 and a color balance of R 226 G 221 B 208. Its soft, green-beige undertones make this hue both stylish and calming. Oyster White is a cozy, soft off-white that is perfect for farmhouse and traditional home exteriors. It can be used as an exterior white paint color or a light neutral greige for interiors.

Sherwin Williams’ Oyster Bar is a warm, muted beige with a slight green undertone, providing a comforting neutral backdrop. Oyster White is also considered a very light greige color, especially if wood accents are planned on the exterior.

  • Planning to do oyster white on exterior. Was considering BM Ambler Slate for shutters but now considering Iron Ore or Cheating Heart. I don’t have much shade and want something with a little more depth than Ambler Slate but not black. Would Collanade gray that I had planned for trim around front windows and front door still work if I go with Iron Ore or Cheating Heart for shutter color? Roof is going to be Georgetown Grey and I have some red brick.

  • Hi Jacob! You are doing a great job with your explanations. Can you help with something for me? I am looking for a neutral color for my walls to do in a whole house interior paint color, or at least most of it. My furniture is whites, chippy whites (all shades of whites really), some muted light grays in soft furnishings, woods (medium and dark with no red) and medium brown leather couch. I also like a pop of green and soft black at times in decor. (A muted calm green). My taste is a bit farmhouse/shabby/cottage BUT…I live coastal in FL in a 3 story home and will be painting A LOT of home with varying light from the beach! Please help. I’ve spent SO much money on samples. 🙁 ty!!
